It is our sincerest hope that each of you has thoroughly enjoyed your weekend, and that you are each ringing in the holiday season as you see fit. We come to you this evening to announce the latest event to hit the halls of Luxe Academy! This is one we are certain each of you will thoroughly enjoy. Beginning tomorrow, December 6, 2021, we will be holding our Annual Submissive Auction! This event is one which Luxe Academy is known for, and one which is sure to draw a whole host of exciting events here on the Academy’s Campus! Please remember to have your bids in no later than Tuesday, December 7 to participate, or you will be randomly assigned! We look forward to seeing where this wonderful event leads!
OOC: Each mun with a Dominant or a Dominant Leaning Switch in play will send me a list of 3 submissives they’d like to bid on. Please have these lists in to me no later than Tuesday! From there, each Dominant or Dominant Leaning Switch will be assigned a submissive to enter into a ‘Mock Claim’ with for one week. During the Mock Claim Week, Dominants are required to treat their submissive/submissive leaning Switch companion as they would treat the submissive they are claiming. You will be expected to come up with rules to be followed during your time together (as you see fit), expectations, and even to place a temporary collar on your submissive for the duration of your time together. Please remember that anything happening within these relationships is expected to be 100% consentual! No exceptions! Also, please remember that while this event is not required, chosing not to participate will leave your characters left out of a wonderful development opportunity, and will also mean that you will be required to participate in everything going along with the Winter Retreat, our next event. Gooooooooood early, early, early morning (at least where I am) to you all! As we wrap up our Halloween Events here at Luxe Academy, we’re coming in hot with our second OOC Task of the RP! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s responses, and seeing how everyone lets their creativity shine through!
Room Raiders: Our second OOC task will be known as ‘Room Raiders’! For this task, we are asking each of our members to make posts about what each of their character(s)’ suites look like! We definitely don’t want to limit anyone’s freedom or creativity, so for the sake of this task and keeping with continuity, we’ll say that Luxe Academy allows each student to decorate their suites however they’d like! Paint, bring in furniture, rearrange, hang up posters and pictures, whatever your muse(s) heart desires, it is allowed! These posts may feature all or any room in your character(s) suite, and may be comprised of a variety of photos and aesthetics! You may put this together however you’d like, be it in a collage, social media posts, or in something that looks more like a moodboard! However is comfortable for you, we support! Remember that while these tasks are optional, participating does earn your character points for posting! As with all tasks here at Luxe Academy, there is no cut off date for this activity! So, you may complete the task whenever you’d like/whenever inspiration strikes! Just make sure to tag all related posts with luxe.task002! ((PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS BACKDATED TO HAVE HAPPENED ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2021!))
At approximately 9:00 PM, things at the Halloween Haunted House set up in the Courtyard of Luxe Academy began to go haywire. The attraction is split into three distinct and separate houses. When strange things began happening- lights flickering, sound and fog machines glitching- students currently making their way through Slashers, Thrashers, and Head Smashers or Medical Malpractice were ushered out of their respective houses by House attendants (outside employees hired by Luxe to put on the production). Those making their way through Into the Dollhouse, however, faced a far different scenario. Lights flickers and machines glitched, though no one came to usher the group out. Instead, the slamming of doors could be heard throughout the constructed warehouse, automatic locks clicking instantly into place, barring anyone in the house from exiting. The group was given a window of 60 seconds to realize what had happened, before the lights went out completely. Suddenly, hands from seemingly everywhere and nowhere simultaneously shot from the dark, dragging each member of the group in separate directions. Lead through the houses in separate directions, though walking far further than it seemed possible, given the size of the constructed houses, and most assuredly going down a set of makeshift stairs during part of their journeys, the groups were eventually placed in two separate rooms.
After several disorienting moments, shrouded in darkness, the lights in each respective room flickered to life. Taking stock of those around them, the two groups soon would come to similar and obvious conclusions- one room housed any Elite student present in the house at the time of the glitches, while the other contained any scholarship student there. Other than each other, the only thing not shrouded in billowing black fabric is a large projection screen, standing blank and noiseless. After approximately two minutes of silence, each screen flickered to life, beginning two very different ‘films’.
Elite Students were forced to watch a film entitled ‘BIRTHRIGHT’. The ‘film’ featured digitally recorded footage of nearly every student on campus, at various points throughout their days, and in various locations. While much of the footage was obviously filmed in public areas (the courtyard, the dining hall, the gym), some clips featured more intimate and private areas (locker rooms, empty suites in the respective Dominant and Switch/submissive housing). While the film’s intro and the first minute or so of footage was backed by bright, cheerful music, the melody soon took an evil turn, slowing, deepening, and leaving all who were watching with a deep sense of dread. More footage rolled, though this time it featured highlights of specific students- Scholarship students. During their time on screen, each of their faces was edited to melt. Voiceovers played in the background, chanting, “Luxe Academy was erected as a home for the most elite, the most prestigious, the most worthy members of society. Now, the doors have been opened, halls filled with those who have no right to be here! And you, those fate has chosen to protect these sacred halls, have stood by and watched as our beacon has been forced to dim her light in shame. Act now, prove yourselves, prove your loyalty to your lineages. Prove that you are worthy to walk the halls of Luxe Academy!”.
Scholarship Students were forced to watch a film entitled ‘TRESPASSERS’. The film, beyond the title, was exactly the same as that viewed by the Elite students. However, the voice over was different. During their ‘film’, the Scholarship studets heard, “Trespassers. Outcasts. Intruders, be warned. Your presence at Luxe Academy will no longer be tolerated. You have overstayed your welcome in a world in which you do not belong, and the time has come for you to relinquish what was never yours! Heed our warning, and retreat while you can. Leave this place now, before it’s too late!”
Following the completion of their film, the ELITE STUDENTS ONLY were shrouded once again in darkness, and lead back to the entrance of the Into the Dollhouse haunt, seemingly free to go.
OOC: While this event took place on Sunday, October 17 in-game, I’m going to timelord it, similar to how the events of the Halloween celebrations are going, so that all players will have a chance to interact with and write through this plot as they’d like. If came to you in DMs and plotted with you to have one or more of your characters involved, please make sure that you post something from them addressing and calling attention to what has occurred. Not every character was involved in this drop, so there will be students on campus who were in the other Haunted Houses but were simply evacuated, who were doing other things around campus, or who had already gone to bed. Where this goes, how your characters react, and what comes of this will be determined by your game play, so make sure you’re talking about this with as many others as possible. Use this opportunity to connect with characters you have not in the past. Build new relationships, raise suspicions, make observations, and remember to come to me with any questions about what to do, or what this means! Happy Plot Drop, y’all! AND REMEMBER: Only the Elite students were released from their confines. It will be up to you, the players, to determine who first realizes the Scholarship students are still missing, and what the plan is to make sure they are located and set free as well. I will be monitoring the dash to ascertain when this discovery happens. Once it does, I will release a list of clues for those searching for the missing students, leading to their safe return.

The time has come, students, for me to announce the next event to hit the halls of Luxe! As I am sure you are all aware, we have officially entered what is known as the Spooky Season! The coming of October brings the opportunity for many fun and interactive events, and you may all rest assured that we here at the Academy intend to take full advantage of every opportunity the season has to offer. Below, you will find a schedule of events hosted by Luxe Academy throughout the month of October. I urge you to keep in mind that while participation in these events are optional, attendance will promise not only a thrilling break from the day-to-day, but the chance to earn points, able to be used towards rewards! As always, anyone with questions is both welcome and encouraged to reach out, we are always more than happy to help! Enjoy your evenings, and do not forget to have fun!

Open nightly in the Courtyard from dusk until 11:00 PM, the Haunted House is a truly terrifying experience for those who wish to seek it. Comprised of three different themed sections, terror awaits around every corner. Featuring: Into the Dollhouse, Slashers, Thrashers, and Head Bashers, and Medical Malpractice Haunts.
Saturday, October 9, 2021: Haunted Movie Night
Beginning at sunset, join your classmates in the Gymnasium for a night of terrifying flicks, sure to both thrill and chill any who attend. Please bring your own pillows, blankets, and comfort items. Refreshments provided. Featuring: The House on Haunted Hill, followed by Thirteen Ghosts
Friday, October 15, 2021 - Sunday, October 17, 2021: Door Decorating Contest
Beginning at 5:00 PM on Friday, students are invited to decorate the doors of their suites using any crafting medium they so choose. Get as creative as you’d like with it! Make doors spooky, cute, scary, or anything else you can think of, provided it stays within the Halloween theme. Judging will occur Sunday, October 17, 2021 (to participate, make sure you post a pic of your characters’ door for their entry to be counted)! There will be prizes for first, second, and third place winners!
Friday, October 22, 2021 - Saturday, October 23, 2021: Halloween Movie Marathon and Camp Out: Horror through the Ages
Starting at sundown on Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Courtyard, Luxe will be hosting a movie marathon, running until 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Students are invited to set up camp (tents and sleeping bags available for rent in the Administrative Offices) or pop in and out as they please! Join us for a journey through horror, beginning with the Lon Chaney Jr. classic The Wolfman, hitting all the greats including Alfred Hitchcock, Stephen King, Wes Craven, John Carpenter, and many more! Refreshments provided! Fire pits will be set up Friday and Saturday night, hosting s’mores making, weenie roasting, and group scary stories told in the dark!
Friday, October 29, 2021: Halloween Carnival and Costume Contest
Join us in the Courtyard and Gymnasium for a day and night packed full of fun activities for all to enjoy. Check out our plethora of games, such as Bobbing for Apples, Cake Walks, Pin the Bone on the Zombie, Name that Monster, and many more! Craft stations will be set up for students to make various masks and decorations! Enjoy Halloween-themed treats at any of our Spooky Food Vendors, participate for your chance to win in any of the staff-sponsored raffles! And, don’t forget to enter our Campus Costume Contest! The Carnival will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday morning, and will run until midnight! Costume Contest entries must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM! The Contest will begin at 4:30 PM, with judging completed at 5:00 PM! Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place winners!
Saturday, October 30, 2021: Luxe Academy Annual Halloween Ball
Our annual Halloween Ball will be held in the Gymnasium from 7:00 PM - midnight! Come dressed in your finest, classiest costumes, as this year’s theme is Royalty Through the Ages. Refreshments provided! Don’t forget to pick up a Masquerade Mask on your way in, to be used later in the night!
Sunday, October 31, 2021: Campus Trick or Treating
Our Halloween Festivities will wrap up Sunday evening with a campus-wide Trick or Treat from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM! Join us in the Courtyard for candy, prizes, music, bonfires, a BBQ, and tons more fun! Students may make their own tables/stands to pass out candy or treats from, or they may choose to simply participate in the fun!

Hello and the best of evenings to you all! Thank you so much to our wonderful members for sticking with us, things have been a little tough on the Admin side of things, but we are getting put back together slowly but surely. That said, I have a couple of quick updates for everyone, so that we may all proceed on the same page!
Student Government Elections have been extended to Friday, October 1, 2021! Voting will be held at that time, so players are still 100% free to make posts and hold events for their campaigns! Voting will take place in the OOC Discord. The floor will be opened to votes at 5:00 PM EST on Friday, 10/1 and will remain open until 11:59 PM Friday, 10/1!
The Previously Scheduled Marked Games will take place next week. Please keep an eye on the main for further updates on how this will work, and what the new schedules will look like!
There will be no Activity Check this week! Admin activity has been low recently, due to some personal/medical issues. That said, this week will be a free week for everyone. Activity Checks will resume next Saturday, 10/2, as normal. Anyone who has been inactive for more than 5 days at that point will be placed on Warning, and will have 48 hours to post IC or risk losing their spot in the RP!
