It was probably not the best idea to fall asleep during a meeting, especially if he was only going to end up having another nightmare about Gwen. It was always the same turn of events, however, every time, Peter tried something different. It never worked, and it would only ended in the same hurt. Gwen, motionless and limp, not breathing, no pulse. It was always his fault.
Though, being woken up by the Captain himself but slightly embarrassing. He himself probably had his fair share of haunting dreams and didn’t need some kid shouting his late girlfriend’s name in the middle of a meeting. He sat up in his chair and wiped his face.
“Sorry, Captain.”
