‘The Windmills of My Mind’ Windmill Hill, Gravesend
‘The Windmills of My Mind’ Appropriation poetry, collaboration & performance
An Invitation to read ‘The Windmills of My Mind’ by a member of the walk for ‘Let’s Take a Moment’, an artist led walk for Reflect Festival that will visit Windmill Hill in Gravesend; a historical site used for viewing the Thames. The walkers are invited to make windmill arms while joining the chorus of the song being read aloud (traditionally set by the miller representing joy). This action of reading, call and response while moving in rhythm encourages joy and is a healthy warm up as prelude to the walk while taking in the views from the hill.
‘a gesture of harmony’ Sea Front, Gravesend
Palo Santo Smudging & Reflection presented by Laura Shawyer.
Palo Santo has been used for centuries in ritual prayer and healing in South America, known for clearing negative energy. This artist led walk ‘Lets Take a moment’ celebrates ‘Sumak Kawsay’* and is an invitation for everyone to take a moment to reflect using the power of Palo Santo essential oil, either anointing or inhaling presented by walk member Laura Shawyer. Close your eyes (optional), inhale and exhale through the mouth (as long as possible on the exhale). Use the Palo Santo oil and take five minutes together, holding the space and coming to stillness. Think about our walk today and what the good life means to you?
* ‘Sumak Kawsay’, ‘El Buen Vivir’ or ‘The Good Life’ “A system of knowledge based on the communion of humans, nature and the harmonious totality of existence; the necessary interrelation of beings, knowledge, logic, and rationalities of thought, action, and living. This notion is amongst the philosophy of the indigenous peoples of Abya Yala, South America”

I finally cleared the game! As you can see from the death counts I have, I’m a pretty crappy player but nonetheless, I’m happy I cleared the game! I am so proud of ONCEs that made this game possible for Mina’s 21st birthday. Even though I might be a day late, Happy 21st Birthday Mina! ❤
My overall thoughts about the game can be found in the read more section below.
Overall thoughts about LV21:
While I was playing, I encountered bugs in certain parts of the game (sadly I forgot to screenshot the problematic areas and I don’t intend on replaying the game anytime soon). Sometimes it wasn’t much of a bother but it can prevent me from advancing, which is why I played the game in windowed mode for me to easily quit and restart the game.
I thought that the graphics, design and bgm of the game was amazing for something that is fanmade! Really, I applaud the developers for being so creative for Mina’s birthday. I hope that in the future, all of the TWICE members can have their own games made by ONCEs!
Last but not least, a shoutout to all ONCEs who helped contribute to this game and making this possible, and thank you Mina International Fan Union for bringing the game to the rest of ONCEs ❤ ❤
