Turn off the news and talk to the trees
Good Morning!!! Your smile is a chainsaw that strikes right at the heart of bad vibes!!!
Reasons I like rescue bots academy #195:
I really like the designs of these aliens???
I detoxed off all social media for about 8 months.
Here's what I learned. The connections i had with others became more authentic and meaningful. I was less stressed, anxious, and more able to focus on things that were meaningful to me. I was more action oriented, and spent time researching and learning the things that mattered to me, rather than mindlessly scrolling through information that a social media platform had curated for me.
Since going back on Facebook in particular for the last 2 months, I have seen friends, family and strangers engaging in petty arguments, posturing, unsolicited advice giving, judgement, and I have found myself becoming addicted to gaining approval from others. If I am honest, I also fell prey to the act of comparing myself to others and was left wondering if I was enough or worthy.
The irony of me posting this on a social media platform is not lost on me, I can assure you.
Maybe this post will never be read by anyone else, and that's okay too. I have chosen to begin this blog so that i can put my thoughts and discoveries out into the world, and as a tool for self reflection. Maybe they will resonate with you, and maybe not. That's all okay by me.
As of today, I still have my Facebook page active but I am seriously considering deactivating it again, if not permanently deleting it.
I think sharing our thoughts and feelings is definitely a healthy thing to do, and I hope to learn from others using this platform and continue to evolve in ways that benefit all.
Love and light to all.
Attention/Focus struggle peeple - do you also feel like you sometimes need to have something happening that you can actively tune out in order to focus? Like complete silence is stifling rather than productive and leads to accomplishing nothing...but on the flip side you have to pick the thing to tune out verrrryyy carefully bc there is a very fine line between good to ignore and too interesting to tune out.
Wondering if this is another feather that goes in the cap of self diagnosed adhd or if this is literally just a me thing and unrelated thing
I'm a little bit off today, something down inside me's different
Woke up a little off today, I can tell that something's wrong
