Tony Perry-- tattoo edit (my edit, don't remove text/repost)

Before I had music to comfort me, I was always really upset. I never had anyone who was willing to stick around for too long. No one would sit down with me and say "Hey, How are you? Are you okay?" That was always my job. I always asked other people if they were doing okay because I'd never had anyone do that for me. I was depressed and always looking for the easy way out. I never knew where I was going in life because I really only wanted to kill myself. I never knew how much a single lyric could impact someone or how a song could flip your mood entirely. If I'm sad, I'll listen to anything that I feel keeps me safe and comforts me. It might not even be a song that relates to how I'm feeling but rather just something to get me by. One band that I go to most of the time is Issues. They put their heart and soul into everything they do and I love them for it. Even if they're just being silly, it helps because it'll remind me not to take things so seriously. However, even though they can be silly, they can also be serious and sometimes that's just what you need. All of the members genuinely care about people. They're real people with real feelings and they care. All the members have dealt with rough patches in their life and they know how it feels to be so sad that you don't know how you're going to make it anymore. Tyler Carter is their vocalist and he has a solo career as well. He wrote a song to his brother letting him know that even though he got involved with the wrong crowd, he can always go back to his roots and find Tyler and get help. Although it was written for his brother, it could easily relate to you, as a fan or just someone who needs guidance. Issues is one band that I look up to. They're my safe haven and it's really nice to have them there to guide me through my darkest hours. I myself have even begun writing music and taking myself a lot more seriously, even if no one else will. I want to be a vocalist and to establish myself and to help fans the way that my bands have helped me. Music can change your world but you have to be open to letting it.
Good luck on your project
