kovu absolutely adores lily like the amount he gushes about her to his coworkers is unrealistic. he really can’t shut up about her ever and it’s a little weird but it’s just because he finds her so fucking amazing.

one of kovu’s favorite memories with lily is cuddling in bed with ehr during a thunderstorm, he knows the girl is afraid of them and it made him really happy that she came to find him. it is something that he doesn’t think he’ll ever forget, it made him feel like he was doing something right and that she trusted him.

kovu’s first reaction to seeing lily is to kiss her forehead and he doesn’t know why but it’s just what he does. maybe to make sure she knows that he loves her. maybe just to try and imprint a piece of himself into her mind, he couldn’t tell you but he does it everytime without fail.
