I think when it comes to them liking each other, Derek is more self-aware about his feelings for her. Casey definitely has feelings for him but seems less ~aware~ of them than he is. I think this would explain "same difference" because she truly just hasn't gotten to that point of being able to identify and acknowledge what she's feeling and might still think that the affection she feels for him is familial

I don’t think people have to ship Dasey, but if you don’t see their relationship as romantic, what do you think is happening between those two characters? Are y’all actually watching the show thinking they have such a wholesome sibling relationship? Like the eyesex is normal siblings behavior for you? Genuinely wondering.

I don't ship Lizzie and Edwin but i do see them as mlm/wlw solidarity, also Edwin gives me he/they vibes.
