DAY ONE AT THE STUDIO
After scoping out Keystone Art Studios for about a year, we're finally moving in! Our friends Jason and Sacha (Somewhere Something) have had a space at Keystone for quite a while and we've been inspired by the group of artists and opportunities for creative collaboration that exist within this warehouse on the east side of LA.
Moving into our studio means the start of something new for us. While we work full-time at our 9-5 as architectural designers and have been taking on several side projects in our free time, we finally have a place to truly cultivate all of the creative ideas that have been brewing in our heads.
While we're super excited to finally get to making (our first projects will be some pieces of furniture) we've still got a little bit of business to deal with. We spent the day today priming the space for some crisp white paint that will soon cover the walls (along with a collage mural I've got brewing in my head and maybe a few colorful accents around the room).
Oh, and we also got our door hung! As soon as we've fully occupied the space we'll get to customizing this as well. Until then, stay tuned - this is the start of something exciting!
