“Hello,” Milton greets the woman, a faint smile coming to his lips which leaves as fast as it arrived. He is rather awful with pleasantries and small talk and quite frankly loathed the entire process, but he was here to fulfill a request of The Governor’s.

“I understand you’re new here in Woodbury. I was asked by The Governor to check in with how you have been settling in. It’s been a few days, so I hope your accommodations have been suitable.”

“Excuse me, miss?” The Governor asks, attempting to get the woman’s attention. He offers her a bright, charming smile and extends a hand to shake. He made it a habit of himself to personally welcome every newcomer that was brought in beyond Woodbury’s humble gates. 

“I don’t believe we’ve had the pleasure of being formally introduced. Folks ‘round here call me The Governor. Welcome to Woodbury.”

He can’t help how impulsive he is sometimes. When the anger takes over, he is no longer Walter White. His birth name, his identity, is dissipated into the autumn air right before he could walk into Saul Goodman’s office. Only in America, he thinks as he pushes and shoves his way out of stone faced strangers and nobodies into Saul’s office---- only to find Saul’s daughter.

“Hi.” It’s an awkward greeting. “Where’s Saul?”
