For the past couple of weeks, Isana had just felt off. Random bouts of nausea and stomach pain. Dizziness and other things of the like. It wasn’t normal at all and to be frank she wanted to know what was going on so she could stop acting like it was fine. So here she was sitting in the doctor's office waiting for test results. Minette playing with some barbies in her lap.
Mind going a mile a minute as the doctor walked back in. He seemed happy which meant she was okay. Right?
He shook her hand to congratulate her and tell her she was fine but to be getting ready because she had a bundle of joy on the way. It took her a second to comprehend and she paled in both shock and fear. Pregnant. She couldn’t be pregnant. She still had to finish up residency. She didn’t have time to raise another child alone. Then again she had Seneca, but what if he left as soon as he found out. What if he reacted in the same way HyunGi did. She couldn’t even imagine Seneca being that cruel, but this could change his entire life. This was a child. A child that he would have to help raise or even just pay for. That seemed to be a lot to ask of someone who was just her boyfriend.
Even heading back to the apartment he was undoubtedly waiting at she was shaking with anxiety and fear. Thinking of ways to explain it where he wouldn’t leave her and Minette. Her entire body screaming to turn tail and run. She decided putting on a brave face despite how pale and obviously shaken she was when she walked through the apartment door was her best bet.
