Though her summer had been fun, in a way, Izzy was glad to be back to school. During the school year she spent her days ignoring her lessons, which was always boring, sure, but at night -- well, in her not-so-humble opinion, parties during the school year were always much more eventful than those during the summer, and she could handle a few boring classes if it meant actually having some new material to invest herself in. Her lips were upturned in an uncharacteristic smile given her surroundings, as Izzy walked through the halls and greeted people she had gone a few months without seeing. A few of them she actually liked; most of them she didn’t. But the feeling of being back was strong enough to overshadow her distaste for most people, for the moment. Hopefully that feeling would last, at least for a couple of days, before her routine became boring again. She opened her new locker, retrieving the books she’d need for her first few classes as the bell rang loud and clear. As bodies dispersed around her, Izzy took her time making it to the first class on her schedule. Adv. English 4. The late bell rang only moments after she stepped into the room, which left her being the last person to arrive. But late was better than never (and given her attendance record, never was a possibility). She hardly glanced to the front of the room as she promptly made her way to the back and took a seat, leaning back into her chair immediately and crossing her arms. She could already feel a nap coming on. @lxndonsky
