To all my beautiful friends & queer kids who might not be on good terms with their mother's because of who you are. I know holidays like this can be sad reminders about strained relationships, but I want you to know you are loved. Mothering bonds aren't just found between biological mothers & children. You can find that nurturing care, unconditional love, or whatever else you may consider to be a mothering trait in friends, other family members, chosen families, partners, so on.
