I feel like the reason why a lot of Luffy's crew and friends don't really ask how he's doing is cause they expect HIM to talk about it first, like, Luffy isn't one to beat around the bush, he can be sensitive when it comes to certain things, but he's one to say things even when he shouldn't, so him staying silent about things probably never even crossed their minds and they most likely stayed waiting never realising he's never gonna bring it up first

Super fun exercise in practicing stylizing these guys—I gave myself 3 minutes to sketch them each from memory—no references—and colored them later. Might be my favorite one piece art I’ve done, honestly; they’re so silly. 😂

The rest of the crew is definitely better with Robin and Sanji most likely listing to classical and the rest with whatever they might listen to.

I have this absolutely self-indulgent One Piece headcanon:

Far, far, FAR in the future, after the Age of Pirates has ended, there's a tradition that's part of orientation week at the Flevance School of Medicine.

The last event of the week starts around Mid-day and goes into the evening. It's called Flamingo Hunt. Every year, one upper year student dresses up as a flamingo -thier skin dyed pink, feathers EVERYWHERE, wearing the brightest, sparkliest outfit they can find - and takes one 2nd year student hostage. The new 1st years must get into groups and catch them, while also attempting to free the hostage before the end of the day. Unfortunately, they also have to get through the 4th years that are defending the flamingos.

The Hunt changes slightly every year because 4th year students choose different ways to defend the Flamingo each time. Sometimes its a series of challenges, other times its a pop quiz. However, even if a team gets to the hostage, the only way to win for certain is to carry the 2nd year off campus, through the main gate. Often times, the team with the hostage ends up running from all the 4th years, the Flamingo and the other 1st years trying to snatch the hostage.

Winning team of course gets bragging rights and free alcohol.
