Why is Harry's icon "offensive"? sorry maybe im an idiot but i dont get it. Help

heeeeey, it's sagan because miya is just trying to read up on it so she can better understand herself why it's offensive. (i'm native american) basically, the headdress is a native headwear is complete eagle/chicken/turkey feathers to symbolize honor to a hero. and the feathers are given a prayer to the four winds (north, south, east, and west) and that's pretty much just the history of that. this is where it gets a little confusing. if you know anything about culture appropriation, you'd know that it's basically just people mocking/mimicking cultures out of 'fashion' or 'interest' -- if you're not apart of that culture; i.e. perrie with the bindi & native headdress, lana del rey with the native headdress, etc.

it's offensive because harry is basically taking my culture away from me for his own purposes. and i know he wasn't meant to hurt anyone in the process of doing so, but it bothers and offends me a lot because of the fact that native american history is barely touched on in high school.

what i've just told you is pretty much just a summation and really kinda overlooked description of why it's racist, but here's a link on why benefits to native american's isn't racist and why you shouldn't wear a headdress if you're a woman or any other culture besides native american:
