Full out brawl. Not one of them is holding back.

Mystic Flour and Longan battling for who gets to keep the ivory title as much as they are the beloved. Also who is the true idgafer. They will have a truly ceaseless battle because the whole return to flour thing doesn't really work on a being that isn't a cookie to begin with.

Eternal Sugar is squaring up with Lotus about who has the better paradise and who gets to keep you. Lotus is actually the best option here, but let us not discuss that too much. Though Eternal Sugar apparently has a dragon graveyard nearby so Lotus probably will not have an easy win.

Burning Spice and Pitaya are brawling to the death. Maybe not even necessarily for you, just in general. Now, both are not going to give in a bit about this. One of them will have to die, but honestly somehow they will probably kill each other.

The Jester war will never leave Earthbread the same once it begins. Shadow Milk is not letting some tiny dragon out clown him. Lychee is simply seething somehow their mate got charmed by some lame mortal who is trying so hard to be like them. You must bear witness.

Silent Salt is kinda character-less for now, so Ananas is sitting this one out for now.

Now, to keep the messy situation really brewing, let's toss in the ancients and whoever mate is paired with for maximum trashfire.

Dark Cacao is having his worst nightmare unfold in front of him and just is not sure his willpower can keep up. Maybe he can wait for those two to kill each other and sneak off with you.

White Lily just wants to take you home, but unfortunately, she is dealing with an extremely clingy, toxic woman and someone she could possibly negotiate with. Lotus and her will form an alliance against Eternal Sugar.

Pitaya and Hollyberry will work together to kill Burning Spice. Victory is theirs. Now, they must discuss arrangements.

Golden Cheese ponders if it was really worth it to leave her purgatory. She is really ready to take you and ignore whatever these two jesters are doing.

Ananas, Pure Vanilla, and Silent Salt are all sitting together in a circle, pondering what this situation even is.

Longan hovering outside your window in PV's Castle while carrying Dragon Eye in their mouth. They assume you are with the mortal because he fulfils your urge to parent with Custard III. The dragon offers their own hatchling. You can only watch Custard cry at the dragon while Pure Vanilla tries to rationalise with Longan. This fails. Shadow Milk realises Longan poses an existential threat worse than the witches and suddenly starts a tentative allyship with PV. Dragon Eye is waving at you.

Hollyberry half debates riding Pitaya into battle if Eternal Sugar attempts to take you. Pitaya is inclined to agree since they are annoyed at a SECOND mortal attempting to take their mate. HB is their exception. ES proceeds to one-shot Pitaya and wave HB over happily.

Golden Cheese and Ananas can shake hands on their islanders/denizens being their most precious treasures. They will fight over you, though. But, it is one out of mutual respect for the other's skills. Burning Spice attempting anything will have him more than six feet under the earth. Neither are playing around with that cockroach.

The intense staring contest between Lotus, Mystic Flour, and Dark Cacao is mortifying. None of them are down for negotiating. All of them want you and will NOT be discussing anything. An attempt to turn Lotus to flour fails. Lotus ponders what is going on with the so-called Dragon Lord who holds his blade far too tightly. The tension between them is palpable in the air.

White Lily, Lychee, and Silent Salt just play cards. Assembly, Lychee is stuck in Mangosteen form and can't really do anything here. White Lily thinks they are just a cute kid. Silent Salt is vibing until their official reveal.

Continuing the idea of maybe like, the other dragons having reincarnated mates that end up with ancients somehow.

Pitaya seething that Hollyberry "stole" their mate refuses to give them back. Hollyberry just laughs that she is more charming than them. The dragon seethes more. (Somehow, they will negotiate with one another.)

Lychee bewildered that Golden Cheese has theirs. A mortal? Really? They are better than some mortal with fake wings! Theirs are real! (Golden Cheese will not let them have you back.)

Lotus wonders why and how White Lily wooed you. Somehow, they will resolve things peacefully but wants very specific results. (Secret death match? They both do not seem likely to back down.)

Ananas is offended. You could bask in their glory, but you choose some weak mortal who can barely fight! Attempting to snatch you makes a certain Black Raisin angry, though. This is utterly frustrating and embarrassing. Pure Vanilla is a little frightened and wonders if there is any truth to their claims – He will try to negotiate. (Ananas refuses. Their pride is too strong. They just want their mate back.)

This isn't so much of a request as much as it is please imagine the dragons in their full draconic forms biting the back of their partners clothes/shirt and cat scruff carrying them off

Longan's dragon form is so massive – even even including the colossal form. You just look pitiful hanging from their mouth. They have hands. Why are they not using them? Any mortal who bears witness would likely think you are about to be consumed. Though, you just being taken away back to their nest.

Their colossal form is even more impossible to imagine. You are simply invisible in their large size. It was like the clouds consumed you themselves.

Ananas is more feasible. Why they did this? Who knows. Their islanders just watch you hang limply from their mouth as they carry you off. In truth, you probably just had them worried after you got a little too far away on a raft. Punishment is nest time and cuddling. This sight is actually not uncommon, unfortunately. Ananas just does whenever they decide they need you.

Pitaya, on the other hand, is quite a bit larger. But, nonetheless, they had you dangling from their mouth as they headed back to their nest. What happened here? Well, a battle went badly, and the Red Dragon had to intervene. In their frantic behaviour, you just got lifted up and carried away. A few Mala Tribe members watched this in bewilderment. Were... you going to be eaten...? This sight is exceedingly rare but also the goofiest.

When the denizens of the Lotus Paradise saw the Blue Dragon carrying you in the mouth, they just stared. Lotus was gracefully crossing the lake to return to their palace. How had this happened? Mostly, they had gotten bored and missed you. Their attendants had failed to find you, so they searched you out themself. Why carry you in dragon form? Well, it just seemed more fun, and they desired to show off their true form. Plus, it was a little cute to see you immobilised and shocked.

Lychee does this frequently. They never stop doing this. The Violet Dragon just decides they are done with something, enters their dragon form, and lifts you up. You dangle there, completely used to this. The Rambutan Tribe watches this in bewilderment. The other dragons are confused by this behaviour. Lychee just simply keeps doing it. They like it for whatever reason. The dragon has tried in their mortal form also. It did not work. Their disappointment was immense, and their day was ruined.

Do the dragons like being bitten on their napes back?

They would all appreciate it – It is a bonding activity, after all. The only issue is that mortal teeth can not even begin to pierce their scales so they are aware they cannot be marked.

Longan is oddly the happiest. They assume you are finally beginning to regain draconic instincts rather than just imitating them. You get praised for attempting.

"Ah, has the instinct to claim and mark finally returned? Wonderful."

Ananas is chuckling at your actions but dares not discourage you. They enjoy having the distant draconic itch scratched. The dragon knows you will not be able to actually mark them, but they adore your attempts. If you actually left mark, Ananas wears it with pride.

"Haha, what are you attempting? A mark? Try all you want."

Pitaya is in between starting a fight and just letting you try to leave a mark. No mortal can ever scar a dragon with just their teeth – besides, you definitely have left a mark on them with a blade at some point they consider an equivalent. They will not stop you, but beware a possible battle following it.

"Ha! Do you think those weak teeth of yours can mark a dragon? I doubt it, but go ahead and try! You mortals always surprise me."

Lotus finds themself having a quiet laugh. How precious... You are truly trying quite hard to even begin to pierce their scales, but they know you will not. Some things are simply impossible. The dragon has no urge to stop you. This does fulfil that silent urge within them to bare a mark of their mate.

"Oho? What are you doing now, darling? Marking me? Hm... Let's see if you can."

Lychee taunts you. There is absolutely no way you can even leave a mark. But, do not dare stop. They are enjoying this quite a bit. Your desperation is adorable to them, and they enjoy the attention you are giving them. Though they know you cannot, something inside of them is simply overjoyed at the thought of having your mark plain to see.

"Kyahaha, what's this? You're a puny mortal. There's no way you can mark me."

I am absolutely OBSESSED with that 3 part Longan story you wrote 👀

I'm curious tho, any chance you would be willing to maybe write about Lychee and Ananas opinions considering they met Longan's mate in human form? (Or maybe just an epilogue?)

Especially because Lychee seemed really excited that we might return to our dragon form, and I can imagine Longan being even worse to be around after loosing us TWICE

Longan is confident that their mate will return – and if they don't? Well, when their utopia is made, their mate will return to their side without a doubt. To dragons, being mated is an unbreakable union and promise. So, eventually, they will return. Longan is patient. Besides, in their mind, allowing them to flee is giving them space to reflect further. They are being a kind mate. If not, it is no difficult task to get them back. Really, everything is still under their control.

Ananas was shocked – yes, they had heard rumours and seen things, but they simply did not want to believe such a powerful dragon could die. Why? How? Those questions they unfortunately knew the answer to. Dragons tend to be quite secluded, but being without one's mate is painful, especially in a new, changing era. Part of them regrets not being there for them. Though, internally they began to make plans. They are someone deeply important to Longan and thus a powerful ally. Them fleeing is a better time to seek them out and discuss joining their side.

Lychee is upset. They were quite a bit attached to Longan's mate. In a sense, they saw them as a parental figure and losing them once was painful enough. Now, losing them again...? It is frustrating. They want to fly off after them and demand they get over whatever hang-ups remain related to their mrotal existence. But... at the same time, they get it. They really do. If anything, they may seek them out for some understanding or comfort, much like they had in the past. They want to be understood and loved.

Maybe after Longan gets conked out, Lychee takes their mate because they are probably the one still most attached to them to live on their island. Especially since they're stuck as a mortal, too, currently. Rambutan must admit that she feels like she's being introduced to a parent even if you are not. Lychee almost seems to view you as one.
