Whatever the Peter Pan horror movie does it won’t be as good as this. Honestly, Tink would be great as the horror cause she’s fae. Though I like to think this version of Tinkerbell still cares about Peter. She’s just dealing with a lot.

So do you know tinker bells villain song Yeah I saw that and Wendy’s death is gonna have repercussion So because Wendy’s dead the police investigate their dissapearance as they don’t return and discover a strange powder on the scene Believing this to be the key to the crime they send it off to a lab where it is studied and found to have anti gravity properties Then one scientist makes a fary lure Before catching and inhuman experimenting on faries Eventually they discover their weakness when a group brakes out and wreaks havoc One of the scientist panics and hides saying a mantra of faries aren’t real to himself And also they find out how to manufacture a weaker version of pixie dust Leading to Britain having the first flying navy And sailing a taskforce straight to never land to demand the return of their children You can see how this would be a problem for tink I killed Wendy a bell Especially when a horrified expeditionary force finds Wendy’s impaled corpse

I'm so happy a song like this is becoming popular and resonating with people but THE COMMENTS ARE SHIT AS USUAL...

"God forbid we have a safe space that doesn't include them"

'Them' in this case usually including black women, disabled women, intersex and nonbinary people (unless they're "woman" enough) and trans women alongside men. Why? They're not "woman" enough. In allegorical terms, only the most ivory of sheep are allowed to talk about their suffering, while the darker wooled sheep and other animals have to "get there own groups" which means shutting up about their own experiences.

"it's a song for women and girls"

No, it's a song about sexual assault and rape and the trauma it inflicts, written by a woman who was assaulted as a child. It's definitely using the themes of women being assaulted by men such as the little red riding hood story, but saying it's solely that and nothing else is very close-minded on what a song can mean.

There are significantly less (popular) songs about men being victims of rape and abuse than women, and the songs about being a victim is already a small amount. There are almost no (popular) songs about anyone other than cis white women being victims of this sort of thing, and being like "I wish there was more songs like this about my experiences" doesn't magically make this song disappear into thin air!

And that's when you realize this is someone with a very unfortunate mindset about the societal constructs of gender. This sort of thinking leads trans women and gender-nonconforming women to get pushed out of "safe spaces". This thinking leads to trans men being called "traitors" for transitioning, and people who don't fall under either category to either be treated as "women-lite" or "basically men", depending on how they present themselves.

Only white sheep get to "deserve" freedom, and everyone else in the herd is left to die by a system that encourages wolf-ish behavior while anyone suspected of being secretly a wolf is killed. Boys will be Boys and Wolves will be Wolves, and Girls will be Girls and Sheep will be Sheep, and there's nothing beyond this worldview. That's what these comments ultimately read as. I hope Lydia Bard deletes these or addresses these horrible comments, it's a horrible thing to tell a victim they aren't welcome in a "safe" space.
