OKAY ! So for anyone who's new or confused, this is all lore art of WENDY, my omori oc. More specifically, these pieces are about how the MARI incident went down in the context of WENDY's role away from the canon game.

I will be referencing all of these drawings :

For the most obvious motif: EYES !

Eyes in this context mean so many things. One that everyone knows is SOMETHING (MARI). However. it also means for WENDY, the physical feeling of being watched from her previous home at CLOSER CITY where she was an unhappy, child model and star. It also represents her guilt as being a witness to the entire MARI incident.

In this idea, WENDY and BASIL witnessed MARI's death. WENDY hates herself for only bearing witness and not stopping the argument just because she was so shocked. WENDY, though traumatized and scared, is the first to rationalize her thoughts and check if MARI was really gone (a visualization of her realization is the 1st drawing). The constant phrase "everything's going to be okay" is said by WENDY to the two of them because her first priority was to protect them as best as she can over herself. Then everything near end game as usual and yknow....

FIRE !

Shortly after everything went down and everyone was mourning, WENDY ran to the secret hideout lake in the forest to gather her thoughts and soak in the world that was crumbling (metaphorically). The forest caught fire and she has no real idea how or why but it was so surreal because she could've sworn she saw SOMETHING right before it happened. Immediately, she tries to save the picnic area because it held so many memories, taking the basket and the blanket with her but the fire grew really quickly and she was severely burned on 2 instances trying to gather everything and run through the burning forest. Successfully saving all the picnic things but harming herself and having it all be tattered as a downside.

Fire not only symbolizes that moment but also the catalyst which inevitably semi-destroys the friendship between the group. Her crumbling world.

WATER !

more like the 2nd drawing of her in a pool of water; WENDY "drowning" is a motif of WENDY suppressing all of her trauma and guilt in order to "put out the fire" or help put the friendship back together or at least help heal people the best she can.

"WHAT ABOUT THE FIRE" quote from the 3rd drawing is representative of WENDY ignoring the rising guilt within herself that is destroying her.

LAST DRAWING: WENDY is holding a picture, telling herself to "put it back together" as a reference to how she's trying so desperately to keep a hold of her memories while everything on the outside is ruined. She's crying if ur wondering what those droplets or bubble looking things are T^T

My only legit complaint with the South Park Post Covid special is that they have Wendy, intelligent competent Wendy, read the word ‘Chaos’ and pronounce it ‘Chaowse”.

i would feel for wendy 💀 as seulgi’s best friend she has to listen to the girl share every detail about irene and how much she loves her and goes into depth about sex with irene and she’s like pls, pls stop… for the love of god. probably wouldn’t even be able to look irene in the eye after basically getting an entire visual of what her cooter kit looks like 😭
