2: pretending to be married/fake dating, Scott/Lydia

Because there's this whole werewolf council thing, and the whole werewolf community is sceptical about Scott's true alpha thing; the older factions think he's weak for not having a kill under his belt, and the younger ones thing it's one big fairy tale.  He hasn't made any betas, so they think he's weak, and he needs a mate.

Allison doesn't want to do it because their history is complicated and anyway, an Argent name wouldn't help Scott's cause.  Because of the no-betas thing, Scott needs to prove that he's willing to reproduce biologically and extend his pack, so he needs a lady and the only one they have is Lydia, and she's just so not into it, plus she really doesn't want kids?  She has plans for her life.  But the pack is important, and she loves being part of it, so she goes along with it.

And everyone thinks it's going to be awkward, but somehow Scott and Lydia fit?  He balances out her more abrasive sides, and she brings out his strength and smarts, and somehow it works.  They fool the council, and then they try and go their separate ways, but they keep coming back to each other, keep ending up at movies together and -- they kind of start dating.  For real this time.
