Oh my gosh. Your art is just gorgeous and I'm so in love. My question is though, how do you manage to get such smooth lines? And are thin lines better than thick lines? It's something I've been thinking about for a while and yeah. ;w;
Large canvas sizes (4000pix+) definitely help create the illusion of smooth lines. I also sharpen my pieces once i’m done, so that definitely helps keep them crisp. SAI and ClipStudio have stabilizers that can help keep your lines smooth, and the line quality of either program is superior to Photoshop’s, currently. Even though, I, myself, have only been using Photoshop for the past year or so. As for thin and thick lines, I honestly love both? I love how thin lines can look with the right coloring, but I also love how much weight and dimension pieces with good lineweight can have. Ultimately, it comes down to preference! I definitely think thick lines/proper lineweight require more thought while drawing, so I admire anyone who can pull it off.
