★:our muses stargaze together (TWO BECAUSE I'M GREAT)
Why in the hell had they thought that they should try camping again? Given, their idea of doing such a thing only went to the extent of setting up a tent in the Hathaway family's backyard and things usually got a bit fancier than they would for the average outdoor enthusiasts. A plate of colorful macarons sat between them and each had a large mug of hot coffee at their sides; if anyone asked, they could drink coffee and night before time was only an illusion and once you understood that you could live in complete bliss. They also were just pretty odd. Regardless of the sweet setup, the blonde found herself questioning their attempt as she swatted a fly away from her face. "Is it freezing out here, or is that just my heart?" Avery asked as the two stared up at the opened tent top. It was silent all around them, minus the sounds of their slow breathing.
The blonde turned towards Lyra and propped herself up on one elbow. "I'm really happy for you two, you know," she sad, referring to Lyra and Jeremy; a recent topic of conversation. "Can't say I never saw it coming either." At that point, she reached over and nudged the other's shoulder. She was glad that her best friend had something in her life that made her happy throughout all of the craziness. Besides, if Avery didn't have a boy or relationship in her life it was okay. She could always do romantic things with her best friends. Like stargazing.
