I haven't been able to stream at all in 2 weeks and not meaningfully in about a month and I'm going a little more mad than usual but I might see the new streaming PC tomorrow so there remains hope.

I have gotten SO much Minecraft grinding done though.

My immediate thought was rebel leader because of all your really good informative posts about important issues and such, but then immediately got hit with the "boy howdy would Witch be the funniest shady merchant of all time" which such wares as: jar of their own eyes from a thousand alternate realities, to the antlers of a storm god, to high quality lead-free makeup (made with real ?human? blood)

I mean the beauty of a multiverse is that there's basically a Lying for every taste.

(sorry if this is odd, I am a very odd person) Hi. I love you. This is about Wheelchairs. And the fact that it exists. And the fact that it has my mobility aid needs in it (because I'm in a situation where I would be abused if I had an aid but mother fucker when I get out I'm getting crutches). Help! I've had a fair number of recent bad experiences with refugees/immigrants in my local area and at work, and along with the things that are being reported in the news, I'm starting to struggle to separate 'you're a twat' and 'your entire group are twats'. I can feel myself getting pulled towards a right wing spiral and I want to get off the ride before it's too late. Help me, what can I do to stop! (I'm UK based if that's worth anything)

Taking you at face value for a moment, here's the answer:

All of it is lies. Every bit.

Our state media is run by Tory stoolies and Rupert Murdoch. Our nation has been multicultural since before literally any living human being on Earth was born. I grew up right next to immigrants from India, my grandmother immigrated from Ireland, I went to university with people from across the globe.

Yes there are refugees, yes there are immigrants, but they haven't been this kind of problem in our entire history, because you're talking about people who are lucky to have shoes, let alone somewhere to live and to work. They are not the driving forces in our society.

The driving forces in our society? Are the rich people in parliament. And they always have been.

Right now, Labour is basically following a roadmap made by the Tory party before them, and a Lot of it is evil and sadistic stuff that they either wanted to do themselves or wanted Labour to look bad doing after them, or both. And a lot of it is being perpetuated in our government by people loyal to the Tory party.

This isn't just conspiracy theory knuckle bones, this is stuff that is right there on the official record.

Sure, there are going to be some refugees and immigrants that do bad things, but that's because they're humans, and a lot of them are in desperate conditions. Of course there'll be some that do bad things, we'd do the same in their place. The vast majority of crime is never malicious, it's an act of desperation by people who don't know of anything else they can do to help themselves and those they care about.

The key thing to ask when you see those stories in the headlines is Who is telling you about them and Why do they want you to know about them. Because the answer usually isn't because it's actually a big issue.

What’s the best way to monetarily support you? Your Gofundme, patreon, stream donations, kofi, ?

Transaction fees vary by platform. Patreon takes about 5-12%, Kofi takes up to 5%, Twitch can take as much as 50%, and Paypal really varies based on how the transaction is classified, currency, etc. etc.

GoFundMe is funding for specific purposes, so if you chuck into my transition fund or bucket list that money explicitly cannot be used for groceries instead for example. Throne has a similar stipulation but it's enforced by the platform better.

If you just want to throw money at me without any specific intent, Kofi is probably the best choice. Paypal also works but there's a Ton of complicating factors that can get people in hot water and the bigger the volume the more likely it is to get flagged.

Patreon is better for long-term support, and also gets you all my extra posts and my monthly patron-only events. Twitch is probably the best low-cost way of supporting me.

And of course, the cheapest and easiest form of support is always to just spread the word! 😊

sorry to bother again!! do you have anywhere the public can access the sprites and designs for the wheelchair mod? I might try to abridge a version for bedrock (mainly for personal use unless you're ok with it :))

The source code (and all of the assets) are on my github!

The chairs themselves are a hybrid, between a pair of wheel item models and a block model for the chair (which means almost every single detail can be changed with resource packs). Just bear in mind this means that the chair model doesn't have wheels by itself.

Feel free to make a Bedrock version yourself, all I ask for is appropriate crediting. The more folks that get access to the chairs, even if it's not directly from me, the better as far I'm concerned.
