Varyn – “Many-Faced Howl”
God of Adaptability, patron of the Lykari
Gender: shifting, fluid, untethered. Symbol: a crescent moon with a mirrored reflection inverted beneath it.
Domains: transformation, instinct, survival, self-acceptance.
Varyn is both hunted and hunter, a being of infinite skins. It is said that when the world first fractured, they tore a piece of every living creature’s essence and gave their children the ability to use the other god’s gifts. To pray to Varyn is to ask: “What am I beneath my skin?” Their temples are wandering packs, their scriptures written in clawmarks and breath.
