And you can tell everybody... [1]
It's a little bit funny this feeling inside.
And you can tell everybody...
This is your song
Who was he? As she wandered through the castle she didn't expect to find an unknown guard, she didn't even know that they had guards apart from her father's Marks.
She studied the stranger all their way to Midgard but he was too serious, too professional for her to crack him. One thing that Lyla knew was that he was too attractive for his own good, she could spend all day staring at him but everytime she tried to flirt with him she failed in a miserable way. One again he seemed so educated that even when she forced him to help her with her underwear, he kept acting like a...prince.
I hope you don't mind...
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is, now you are in the world.
Lyla didn't believe in love at first sight, but she had to believe in the way in which her palms were getting sweaty, how she giggled and her heart raised faster just with the sound of his voice. All that Aaren said seemed fascinating to her, his way of life and all of his rules but most of all, how happy he was with his life. It was simple, different from her's.
Could she get used to that kind of life?
She enjoyed doing whatever she wanted, having people serving her.
Although...
She wanted to see him every day after work, to be sure that he was safe, that he was not hungry. Could she keep him close?
But the answer came at the end of the day when they had to say goodbye. He had to go back, and probably they wouldn't see each other the next day.
Lyla felt a weird hole on her stomach as she saw him leave...Her family was there and she had missed them terribily, there was no way that she could run behind a stranger....right?
So excuse me forgetting, but these things I do.
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is, what I really mean.
Yours are the sweetest eyes, I've ever seen.
