42. Hobbies?
They actually spend a lot of time trying to learn how to read since it’s kind of...a very obvious and bothersome deficit when they’re living among so many literate wolves and humans. (Lex and I have plotted that Theo is a big help for this pursuit) One major obstacle they have though is that most books in their reading level are made for children and are very boring. It’s hard for them to stay motivated when all the material that’s accessible to them feels like it’s talking down to them. :( Other things they really like to do are anything that involves being outside (when it’s not so cold), trying new food, watching just about anything on tv that doesn’t have loud noises in it, and devouring the record section of Topping & Co. They’re really into music since it requires no ability to read or really any prior knowledge of human customs to be able to appreciate sounds and melodies and they like the way music makes their body want to move. They’ve even started to experiment with human howling, or as all these funny humans like to call it, singing.
