i was gonna watch hellions, but then i saw the trailer and am now apprehensive. return to sender and dark places are only watchable bc of the actresses in them. we are still here: no. watching cop car tomorrow and it looks super kitschy.

it’s cop car time for me, but i’m not gonna watch a hellions trailer and solely going to check it out based on the fact that bruce mcdonald made one of the best horror films of 08

I'm really disappointed that tumblr shut down the mrgolightly blog. As I've said before, our digital rights are slowly, but surely, being trampled on. I've been following that blog since I set up my account in June 2010. John's excitement about films and cinema are what really fueled my passion for the field. I don't know if I'd even have considered a career in media without the influence of mrgolightly. Tumblr is trying to make it seem like there's a thin line between copyright infringement and free publicity, and I think that's bullshit. Why would any corporation, movie studio, or actor object to having their work exposed to literally millions of people who wouldn't have otherwise seen it? Are media outlets really so cynical about piracy that they believe no one is actively gonna pay for shit and support the arts anymore? Take an ibuprofen, put down the nietszche and lighten the fuck up, tumblr. Blogs like mrgolightly do more help than harm. I know that John is frantically trying to gain all of this gifs he created over the years, so if you see any of his sets would you do me a favor and reblog it with the tag lynchoid? Thank you, my babies. Now I have to consider if I even want a tumblr anymore before they nab ME for copyright infringement. They'll have to cuff me before I give up my rights to safe-reblogging. I want my lawyer.
