OAKLND presents: Chicago

Featuring Lyncs and a really good vibe

OAKLND and Lyncs team up for their second collab with "chicago",the emotive first track from OAKLND's upcoming debut EP. Written over Zoom between LA and West Lothian, the track is a tale of the heartbreak and regret.

OAKLND shares, "The track is inspired by a video I saw online about a girl who was breaking up with her boyfriend cause she was moving to Chicago and he was moving somewhere else, I'm not sure why it resonated with me so much, but now there's a whole EP coming from that 1 video".

The duo are releasing their first track together since "guess ur doing fine" in 2022.

"Chicago" balances the soaring atmospheric sounds of the 1975 with the hazy alt pop and emotional songwriting of Holly Humberstone.
