My aesthetic must become more pumk. I could accomplish this through one of two methods: spend 200-300 dollars on getting my first tattoo, or go for a similar sum of sewing supplies.

The tattoo would be somewhere inconspicuous and easily hidden since it would be my first, but the new handmade clothes and things I wanna make would be visibly punk. And with my crazy bad needle phobia there's no guarantee I'll even manage to get a whole tattoo done.

#fabric isn't cheap but it's still cheaper than cool clothes most of the time (minus labor hours but I don't count them)#lynx thinks #I'm just thinkin about it #I got an additional ear piercing this year and survived that process so maybe I could manage the tattoo?#It would be something floral and neat looking to commemorate a big anniversary #it's just a lot of money for something only my partner and I will really ever see since I usually wear shorts to swim now #I dunno... ideally I'd love to do both but I don't have the time to take on commissions to fund that kind of endeavor #i still need to assemble a curriculum in the next month and finish my current batch of work #I have so many sewing ideas on the back burner for when I can afford the supplies someday #I'm just not certain yet... I'm reaching out to tattoo artists in the area for cost estimates though
