so apparently my queue ran out sometime this afternoon and NO ONE TOLD ME.
...and by no one, i mean, my last night self, who apparently put everything into the drafts instead of queueing it. why.

Still on holiday! Today was great, and my sister takes a lot more pics than I do. So I take them from snapchat 😂 Anyway, I enjoy everything from gardens and historical sights to the pizza i just inhaled. 🍕❤
I’m on holiday with my mum and sister ❤ (Please compliment both my mum and the view one of our rooms gives us 😍. )
Here's an adventure I just lived through:
Picture me, sitting at my laptop chilling without a care (that's a lie, i was chilling with a lot on my mind and a page long list of things to do before i take the train at 7am tomorrow morning). i sit with my back to the hallway and my bathroom, where a laundry is bein tossed around in the washing machine.
9:46pm: the washing machine noise stops and i rush into the bathroom to see what's up
9:46pm: i notice that i hit the light swith but nothing happened. i hit it again, and STILL nothing happens. i hit the other light in my bathroom - nothing.
9:47pm: after hitting both light switches about ten times i come to the conclusion i blew a fuse somehow and check my electrical panel in the hallway
9:48pm: after staring at the electrical panel for a minute and not being able to figure out which switch is which, i think 'hey, shouldn't the bathroom one be on 'off'?' and see that ALL the switches are on 'on'. which is bad, because you can't switch on what is already on.
9:48pm: I panic
9:50pm: i find myself in my living/bed/dining room, staring into the kitchen. taking a deep breath i tell myself to get it together, drink a glass of water and then find a solution
9:50pm: the light in the kitchen doesn't work. the power in hallway and living/bed/dining room are fine, but kitchen and bath are without any
9:51pm: i panic
9:52pm: i call my brother who's on night shift, plenty bored and used to me panicking about stuff i can't deal with because i never dealt with it before
9:55pm: my brother solution was to call the caretaker for the house, so i go down to the entryway of my house (i live on the fifth floor), find the number next to the main door and call the man.
9:57pm: the caretaker's solution is to call the electrical maintenance crew at 8am. i told him i was gone by 6am. his next solution is to just leave it all as it is and worry about it on monday when i am back
I mean, WHAT. i am not leaving some of my favourite shirts in the water of the washing mashine for a week. nor am i letting all my food in fridge and icebox get spoiled. so no.
9:58pm: i call my brother again, he says not to panic, he has to do a round but will call me back.
9:59pm: i look into my dark fridge
9:59pm: i panic
10:04pm: my brother calls back and tells me to search some extension cords and re-route power from my living/bed/dining room to the washing machine and after it's done to the fridge and just leave it till monday
10:07pm: my brother is on speaker phone while i panic over only finding one extension cord, which is nowhere near enough
10:08pm: I ring on my next door neighbour's door. he opens in undershirt and boxershorts, with his cat on his shoulders. i ask for an extension cord. he closes the door
10:10pm: the neighbour rings my doorbell and hands me two extension cords. the cat is adorable, he's rather weird, but apparently nice enough
10:14pm: i built a line from next to my bed to the washing machine. the washing machine continues it's washing. i am delighted.
10:15pm: my brother yells over speaker phone asking if I'm calm enough now. i am not, but i thank him and let him go anyway
10:27pm: i notice i haven't done the dishes yet. i'm gonna have to do it in the dark in a little while
I'm not here because I'm at a birthday party for which I made a pretty awesome cake 😆
today i proved that i don’t possess the common sense the gods gave to a pigeon - are you ready for this?
i opened the washing machine’s door in the middle of the wash cycle.
which, unsurprisingly, flooded my entire bathroom plus my flat’s hallway
yes, hello. I just want it noted somewhere on this blog that my 2017 started with me falling headfirst into a new tv show: The Librarians. Well, new to me. Which basically meant watching twenty-eight episodes in 3 days, proving once again that I have a very Irresponsible Sleep Schedule (Thanks, Dani, for pointing that out :D). Anyways, I love the show, Flynn and Eve are far too cute for words, I love the LITs-or-no-longer-LiTs and 10 episodes per season is not enough. Magic and adventure and fun, so much fun.
tl;dr: Watch The Librarians and then fangirl with me, please. I’m in love.
I finally checked Gone Girl off my to-watch-list and i gotta tell you, I dunno what’s supposed to be so great about the movie. it was weird and got weirder.
Next is 22 Jump Street and I hope that’s miles better.
