The first night I really went out and about in Belfast with friends was Culture Night. After checking out the events for evening we grabbed a bite to teat at at Pizza Punks. They've got great vegan options and a fab ambiance.
We also stopped into the Sunflower pub, an iconic venue which often has live music.
Murals are a big part of Belfast. Here I include a few pictures of some of the murals nearby the Sunflower pub, including one of Lyra Mckee. Lyra was a promising young journalist murdered in 2019. You can read her work here and here and listen to her speak about LGBT rights in the following video:

Lyra’s legacy continues the indomitable commitment that many journalists uphold. They place themselves in harms way to bring authenticity, reality and the truth to the public. Lyra was caught in crossfire, but her tragic death has ignited an inferno that burns brighter than ever.
