Cooks the meals-……………..NORA DO YOU REALLY WANT THESE TWO IN YOUR KITCHEN???//shot Nah, but I think Melanie would pick up some quick-meal cooking skills having to learn to work from little to nothing when living on the streets, so there’s an idea.
Starts getting into holidays way before they should-They’re pretty lax about those holidays. They probably like the 4th of July the most because they can get discounts on fireworks by telling stores they’ll sue for Lyranie’s “war” injury from a defected product.
Initiates the couple selfies-Lyron has had more experience with a phone than Melanie has, so he probably brings it up first. Then Melanie hogs the phone for days playing with the setting and then the phone bill is stupidly high because someone’s been using up all the minutes and so they blame it all on the knight’s IT department because those nerds need to pay their dues–what?
Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries-Okay, headcanon here: Melanie forgot Lyron’s birthday once and even though he wasn’t that bothered by it, he pretended he was. At first Melanie thought he was just joking around but then nearly fell for it and felt a little guilty so she brought him a dead bird. That turned out to be alive and was just unconscious from shock. The bird ended up making a mess in his bedroom and then flash teleported everywhere in the light wing bedroom outdoor area and it wouldn’t calm down because Melanie chased after it AS A WOLF making it even more frightened and then it ran into the glass chandeliers and spilled blood everywhere from the impalement. Lyron still thinks that was the best birthday show ever but it was later ruined because he and Melanie had to clean up all the bird feathers and guts.
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping-Don’t let them grocery shop, everything is junk food. The old-timey fridge is filled with microwave burritos and somewhere Nora is screeching that all her ingredients are gone. ..It was worth it.
Nicknames the other-I think Melanie likes to call Lyron “Ronnie” sometimes, despite how feminine that might sound. She also calls him blondie because of his fancy hair. Lyron probably calls her “Mels” since Justin usually does and that’s usually a nickname for that name anyway.
