ALL THE HEADCANONS FOR MELANIE
☾ - sleep headcanon: She's used to sleeping anywhere and everywhere. Half of the time she'll sleep comfortably on the floor, sometimes she'll sleep on the bed, couch, any available surface. However she has a habit of waking up around midnight for a few hours before going back to sleep.
★ - sad headcanon: Melanie didn't think out her and Justin's plan to run away too well when it came to light that their last foster parents gave Melanie braces and she was stuck for them for awhile with no means of getting them checked out for nearly a year. Never again.
☆ - happy headcanon: Her first heist. She was literally bullshitting at how to play gin rummy so she winged the entire time and managed to win the round out of sheer luck. Gained about 10 bucks in winnings and backed out, vowing to learn the game properly and then owning it when she played for real reals later.
☠ - angry/violent headcanon: Sometimes when she is riled up she begins to lisp because of her braces and her tongue switching between english and spanish and it makes the scene more funny than scary and it's all fun and games until she reverts to wolf form to bite you in the ass.
✿ - Sex headcanon: Hmm.... gosh I hadn't really thought much about her concerning this factor. 8'D Your guess is as good as mine but I can say she's more direct as a flirt? She doesn't like being discreet and will make it known if she likes that person she will say so (ie: This. This is mine. I called dibs years ago and i am now cashing in on my coupon).
■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon: During the first nights upon coming to Dulcedomum, she and Justin kept to each other and slept in the same rooms. One night in his room, the next night in hers, and so on. It was one of the first moments she was separated from her twin when sleeping spaces where concerned and that didn't settle well with her.
♡ - romantic headcanon: Her idea of romance, she doesn't like the whole fancy-schmancy deal with candle-light and fancy dresses and random french waiter serving you meals. It's too stuffy for her. If anything, it easily borderlines and overlaps the same thing you do with friends, since that's what she considers romance is: Your partner is pretty much your best friend with more attachments there. Also she is an unintentional snuggler.
♥ - family headcanon: She and Justin were raised by their mother for a good portion of their childhood, learning self defense from her as well as how to "take what you need, but leave enough to be discreet on the streets" logic from their father. These three people, Melanie considers the most important to her in terms of family and now that Justin is all she has left, she treasures him greatly (even through all the sibling squabble). The group of teens they ran to after escaping the foster system were nearly as close to her as good cousins you were raised by, and they made an effective "Pack of Teens" together, until she and Justin recieved their spirits and some of the members in their group revealed that they were scouts for the Redstone family. There was no lies about who they were since in all honest, she didn't bother to ask ("Hey we're two kids with no direction in our lives so we're just gonna worm our way into your group. Ok? Kay."), but she misses them a little since they couldn't come with them.
☮ - friendship headcanon: While she's very outgoing and friendly, she considers Justin her best friend. He knows her ins and outs and she knows the exact same for him. They share a like mind that one would wonder if they were meant to be identical instead of fraternal, but after seeing Jezabelle and Icarus, it looks like generations sometimes repeat themselves.
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon: She loves break dancing and playing cards. Give her a hip hop beat and she'll figure out a dance move to it, it's something she's used to doing on the streets--hip hop dancing for money.
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon:
-Likes: Dancing, good music, good food (which is most likely all food), gore--it doesn't really bother her at all and finds mutilated things actually pretty neat.
-Dislikes: She's pretty amicable with a lot of things but she could easily fall prey to Separation anxiety after a certain point due to what she's been through so far.
▼ - childhood headcanon: Her hair used to be really long when she and Justin were wee ones. It wasn't until they were around ten due to a dare they had that if Justin could jump from the garage roof to the roof of the car without slipping, Melanie would have to cut her hair and then make a wig out of it. Justin still slipped but Melanie cut her hair anyway out of respect for doing the dangerous stunt and found out she really liked her hair short like that and has kept it short since. One of their foster parents wanted to make her grow her hair out again and she kicked them in the shin.
∇ -. old age/aging headcanon: She's actually afraid of aging because aging means you become old and old means you're closer to death than being young and she'd rather be forever young so pacting with her spirit was a life saver.
♒ - cooking/food headcanon: She eats her meat near rare. LIKE A MAN HRAAAH. She also likes Tortas, usually filled with ham and avacado.
☼ - appearance headcanon: She thinks her boobs are tiny and could stand to be a little bigger, but then she wonders if they'd end up punching her in the face, so she's content with her size for right now.
ൠ - random headcanon: She is a nudist activist and is seeking members to join her and the no-pants parade. Truly she is a Redstone
