He was always careful with Fenris, taking things slow and steady, and always listening. It was getting easier to read the elf's emotions. So when Fenris asked, Neil knew he wasn't just asking to please Neil. Hawke smiled softly at Fenris and nodded. Once again, his fingers slowly slid up the inside of the elf's thigh. They avoided the markings, touching only bare skin.

Neil swallowed a bit. He could feel his heart pumping in his ears, and his face was definitely flushed. He was shaking, panting hard. "It's... It's not your fault, Fen. I should've known when to stop... I... It was too far..." Maker he was going to be sick. Neil wanted to shut his eyes, but he couldn't take them off of the crimson on his hands. The Templar's body lay face-down in the dirt. The same Templar who had taken his brother away was now dead... Yet, Neil didn't feel any better for it.

They'd been fighting Tal-Vashoth on the coast. Neil had gotten the bright idea to move up a small cliff to better hit them with fireballs. However, the cliff left him no where to go but down. So when a spear came flying at him, Neil tumbled, rolling off the cliff. His robe caught in a tree growing off the side and he was promptly stuck. Fenris was his only hope of escape, and the elf seemed more interested in mocking him.

☑ What is your most unusual, but favourite OTP?

I’ll go with a different one this time—I’m going to say Fenderhawke. I know a lot of people ship it but I feel like the take many people have on it ends up being uncomfortable and borderline manipulative or abusive—and I just don’t feel like it has to be that way! Thankfully, my girlfriend feels the same way, and I know we’ve recently met a LOT of other people in the fandom who do—at least in this little corner! <3

Ahahahaha… Gundam Wing. (Still my favourite anime, by the way!)

Book: Wake (Part of a trilogy by Canadian sci-fi author Robert J Sawyer, deals respectfully with an unsighted female teenage scientist protagonist who encounters the emerging consciousness of the World Wide Web and is one of the most beautiful trilogies I’ve ever read)

Movie: The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982 Anthony Andrews version—I still really want an AU where Anders is the Pimpernel, okay?)
