so, the thing that has consumed my life this year and last is a thing called IS at my school; or independent study

it's basically a semester-long project junior year where you have to write a paper or conduct a project or generally do a study on your chosen topic and you work closely with your faculty advisor and whatnot. you have to do one per major, and since i'm a double major, i did one last semester (my classics one) and am currently doing one now (my history one). we do a final huge year long one our senior year, too.

it's soooo satisfying to write an in-depth, lengthy study on something you really like

but it's EQUALLY terrifying that you actually have to WRITE it

I finally I pre ordered DA:I a couple days ago and I’m positively giddy, but I’m trying to keep my nose out of anyhting that might spoil me, so I can’t draw any DA:I fanart. Yet. So I went through my old DA art folder and found this picture of Hawke and Anders from Legacy… which is now a couple years old (ahhh I’m old[er]).

Hiatus!

So, I might as well write this out. Because I'm back at school and doing my junior independent study project along with regular classes and work and whatnot, I'm pretty busy and distracted and don't have much mental capacity for quality RPing along with quality school work. SO, just announcing my sketchy hiatus. I'll still be lurking around and occasionally reblogging things or poking people and whatnot, I just thought I'd alert people of it. I'm still on Skype for my Skype buddies and we'll still play like usual. This post doesn't mean much of a change of my current amount of roleplaying, just an announcement of what's going on and to my casual followers, or people who come across my blog.

But I do go on fall break for a week soon!
