I think I should just give up on art. I've tried so hard to promote my work and my blog and the only thing it's shown me is that I should give up. I'll never be as good as the artists I admire and I will never BE an artist people admire. I give up.
A common thing that I notice amongst some artists is the fact that a few of them see their art’s worth through the amount of notes, followers, or the overall popularity they receive. Although being noticed is sincerely great, it shouldn’t define your art’s value at all! The need to impress shouldn’t be what you should be depending on, but rather the enjoyment of your gradual progress and drawing process!! I love how you have the confidence to show the public your creations; it’s a skill that took me a very long time to get used toThere are plenty of amazing artists with so much potential who don’t get acknowledged as much as I would expect (whether it be notes/followers/etc). Yet, they continue drawing and posting art that they really enjoy working on based on fandoms/concepts they’re interested in!! The best value in art is the satisfaction of drawing for yourself and not for others!!
Can I be really greedy and request 4a Valzy and 5B Emizel? >\\~\\< I can just picture it being a scene where Valzy le tures Emizel about Sardines and Emizel is 1000% done with this.
~{{Emizel looks high. |8 Sardines, you piece of fuck.}}~
Digimon (Draw yourself thingy)
OH MY GOD
DRAW MYSELF AS DIGIMON? xD
Well I assume the point is probably drawing myself as the human characters, but drawing myself as Digimon is challenging.
Not sure which to do. What do you think I should do?
lyserg42 replied to your post: So, anyone up if I post more Asurayuu stuff?...
Ooh! I didn’t know there’s an AsuraYuu week! I’m lazy but I’ll do my best to take part!
Yeah there’s Asurayuu week but I didn’t open it yet because I haven’t touch Tumblr for weeks and just log in today. XD
I’ll try to do it soon. Really soon. :3
How do you submit something to the blog?
I don’t usually post submissions unless it’s for example a link to an original post, which I usually reblog after! I’m not that active, but still wanna keep this blog going!
Thank you very much for answering my previous question ^^...Um I was wondering..Do you use a graphics tablet and if so, which brand would you recommend for someone just starting to use Photoshop/paint tool SAI? Thank you ^o^
Yes! I suggest a Wacom Bamboo!! I’ve never tried anything else, but I’ve had mine for years and it still works perfectly fine! There are different versions ofc! Mine is a CTL-460/K! I started out with SAI; imo I think it’s a little easier than Photoshop, though Photoshop is truly handy to learn in the long run, tbh. Hope that works out for ya!
-Kinda awkwardly screeches because holy hell Disgaea 4!!(Is on like episode 4 it is currently depriving me of sleep)- Is there a Disgaea manga!? If so, I was not made aware *Slowly puts hands up for high five because Disgaea* (Sorry >~<)
~{{There are many Disgaea mangas. :’3 There’s basically one for every game available. That I know of, Disgaea 3 has the longest manga, and it’s one that I definitely recommend. Disgaea 4, however...DOES have a manga...but part 2 hasn’t been made public and the first part hasn’t been translated.}}~
