Like, a behind the scenes wig test for Blackbeard. How did y’all find that magical wig/beard combo? Who made it? Were there other versions? I’m sure there were! Are there phots of Taika wearing random wigs and making silly faces at the camera? Better yet! Are there Polaroids!? I am 100 percent positive that there are. Could you please share them for the general public? Just for like . . . yah know, entertainment purposes. Please?

So now that I have the headset and goggles... I did a wig test. Just waiting on his clothes now.. I'm going to try to start working on his wings today! Holy fuck am I excited for this cosplay to come together.
Megurine Luka - Wig Test nº1
This weekend I also took the time to make a first wig test on my Pullip Luka (who is basically a Pullip Noan with no piercings). My metal comb has disappeared, though, so she looks messier than she should.
Eyes are provisional until I can get my hands on the coloured, pupil-less eyechips I saw in HelloCoolCat, but I wanted to get used to see her with blue eyes instead of her pink ones.
The wig is from Natrume in Etsy; technically, it is a size too small for Pullip, but you can put it on... if you do not mind struggling for a while. The only review with pictures had it on an official Pullip Luka (ha!), so I knew it was possible.
Mine had the bangs cut wrong, they are waaaay too short on her right side, so she has to wear it crooked; at least, it seems that styling her as Luka can hide it a bit, too. This picture was my reference:
She will need the pink hair to frame her face all the time to really look the part, so when I get her definitive eyes installed (and her asymmetrical eyelashes fixed, yikes!), I will have to cut and curl a section of hair on every side of her face... Wish me luck!

that awkward moment when you order a wig online to bring your mc/apprentice to life and make tik toks and your own hair was too short at the time.(seriously I have like a book full of ideas to do with my mc) and the wig takes so long to arrive due to the covid 19 situation that when it finally does arrive you no longer need it because your natural hair has out grown the wig (and the wig doesn't really look like how it was pictured) so you decide to use your natural hair (also thought about using the wig to cosplay Portia but its too short for her as well.

on the other hand it is an official wig for Zarina from Tinkerbelle and the pirate fairy and that is my favourite movie of the Tinkerbelle movies so maybe ill use that as an excuse to cosplay Zarina.
