lzbarnabas said: I felt underwhelmed by it at first, too. I gave it a C at best. I went and watched it a second time and appreciated the attention to detail and liked it better, but it's alright. On my second viewing, I gave it a B-. The first hour or so drags a bit and then it picks up. It's a slow burn with a good climax, I'll give it that. They did some amazing special effects! That's what people will remember most from this movie, I think.
Well said, I agree! You’re right, some details were really good (like when K-2 used the iconic “I have a bad feeling about this” running gag :D). And the ending + the special effects were amazing!

Hahaha! Thanks! I remember watching this movie several times when I was little. Carol Burnett and Aileen Quinn were great. Everyone was perfectly cast! If I was an adult back then I would feel iffy about Tim Curry, but he did great! All-star cast!
I didn't watch it until this year, and I watched it because of the fabulous cast mostly (I watched the 1999 version when I was younger), but I wish I had watched this when I was little so I could think, "Little did I know how brilliant these actors are!"

Very cool! My best friend's little girl was just in a stage production of "Annie". I helped get her hooked on the movie :)
That is so cute!! And that was good of you ;)
