"Been a while since I've been your shield..." Jade muttered.
"I haven't needed your protection, dear girl."
"Still... It felt strange, reminded me of back when you actually cared about me."
"I still do Jade, you're my princess," he kissed her head lightly. "Now, let's get those handcuffs off."
Jade sighed, and nodded. Hopefully they'd find a locksmith that could get the handcuffs off, before her dad got moody again.
"Let me down!" Jade squealed, struggling to keep a foot on the ground while Pitch dangled her. "Help! Please! Anyone!"
"It's not like anyone can see you Jade, you're a minor spirit," Pitch scoffed.
"Dear whoever gave us this handcuff curse. It's not often I didn't think I'd ever say this, but fuck you."
"Such language," Pitch scolded, jerking on the chain.
Jade yanked back, evidently unsuccessful.
"Still looking for a locksmith that can unlock magical handcuffs," Pitch announced.
"My wrist hurts..." Jade muttered.
"I can distract you from the pain," Pitch grins, yanking up his arm and dangling her about with a grin. It wasn't as if anyone would stop him.
"Anyone have a lockpick? Or uh, I dunno, a buzzsaw?" Pitch called. "I'd love to have this cuff removed."
Jade, beside him, sighed.
"Family time, why can't we have tea? Why can't we spend time together without you hurting me?!"
"Because it's much more entertaining holding you up by the handcuffs?"
"Does anyone know a locksmith?!" Jade called.
