An off-handed shrug directed at the commentary has Reyes lift his glass to have the rock of ice clink as he takes a sip of some unpronounceable brand of Japanese whiskey.  Not bad stuff, really.  He’ll have to remember to bring McCree back a bottle once business is taken care of here.

Here being some back alley, seedy establishment acting as a cover for all sorts of pleasant business transactions.  His kind of place.  And now that he’s found his target, well, things might get interesting.

Maybe I’m just a guy looking for a decent drink in this backwater town.

An arched eyebrow and a lopsided grin has him measuring this conversation partner.  Quite obvious too.

*Flirt Meme* *There's a handful of varying jars all containing different kinds of hearts, as well as a taxidermied barn owl. There's no sign of the person it originates from except for a small note printed from a public use library terminal. It reads "I have identified that the heart is the theorised source of affectionate feelings. I wasn't sure which type of heart was adequate so....." {I am so sorry for my muse. -.- But I just laugh when imagining this.}

He’ll be the first to admit that this was some next-level flirting right here.  The stuffed owl is...  Interesting...  And without much commentary right now.  But those jars of hearts?  That’ll keep him occupied on and off for a good while yet, idle distraction turning each this way and that shaking the crafts to watch them move and shuffle about, and just enjoying the effort it must have taken for such a thoughtful gift.

Oh, and regardless of anonymity, he knows exactly who all this is from.

And will send her a vague invitation to meet up for drinks the next night.

And that had been that, without a doubt a successful mission completed, the Overwatch blues flying the victory flag for Freedom and Humanity, even with proverbial hands being tied and bound by red tape and the usual gag of bureaucracy.  But honestly, that’s none of the Commander’s concern, really.  Won’t be his ass in a sling over doing what needed to be done, after all.  Hell, him and his team don’t even exist on paper.  Just a ragtag bunch of questionable covert Ops taking vacations.  Conveniently timed and well thought out destinations notwithstanding.

Still, the action taken has Reyes’ eyebrow arch with respect and appreciation, a bit of surprise too given how a certain conversation had been left wide open.

Huh.

Another strike against the Strike Commander.

Maybe it’s not too late for him.

Then again...

He’s got “paperwork” to do for the next couple of hours, and will be found in his rather sparse, and mostly empty Zurich office.
