“I don’t think it’ll work,” he said, sulking, about it to Moon Young during one of their calls. The deadline was closing in and the target was unlikely to be met. “We can’t delay it any longer, otherwise we’ll lose the other booking and we’ll have nowhere to stay.”
“Yes. No,” she said, mumbling. “We don’t want that.”

They say that we're out of control and some say we're sinners
It has been a long journey from their first meeting in Mercy, to their inner selves battle in M, before coming to this third act in Moon.
And yet, a fact remains that M!babies are still not perfect.

When his silence went for a moment too long, she withdrew herself from his gaze and nestled down. Any other time she would be satisfied with going under the duvet to warm herself up.
“I promise to keep my hands to myself,” she continued, with her breaths tickling the hollow of his shoulder. “If you promise to stay until the morning.”
He had every intention to do so, he probably did not even have to tell her. He wondered if she had seen what he had brought along with him.
“I promise I’m staying for much longer than that, Moon Young,” he replied, tugging her more into his arms and idly stroking her hair. She peered up at him with both amazement and disbelief. He tilted his head so it met hers on the pillow. “What is it?”
“I’m wondering if your drunken ass will be able to remember all of the things we’ve said tomorrow,” she said, searching for the truth in his eyes earnestly. “You might second guess us again. But I guess, I’m guilty of that too.”
Everything—both questions and answers—had to be done in a quick succession with her, rapidly shooting orders to break down his patience until it met her stubbornness.
Once upon a time, she had it thrown at his feet. Even to an unforeseen future, he had not wanted to see more of that sight.
“Maybe. But if that happens, you just have to remind me again.” He kissed her briefly. “And again.” He kissed her again, deeply. “And—”
She put both hands on his cheeks, forcing him to stop and open his eyes. “And why would I want to do that?”
“Because you love me.”
