Max hung back as the fans began to clear out after the game. When the teams began to head out too, she moved in step with the Peaches' pitcher. "Your fastball's pretty great out there." It was clear in her voice that it was said with real appreciation of the other woman's talent.

When he heard footsteps tracing back to him, and hearing the rattle of the pill bottle, Max began to push himself up a bit. "I think what I drank is wearing off."

He lifted his shirt to his chest and groaned. "Will you help get this off of me?" He looked at Damiens kit, hoping there wasn't any need for stitches.

   Max looked up at the sound of his brother coming home. “Hey,” the warlock said with a smile. “Tough day at the Institute?” He asked when he noticed his tired look. “Dad and Papa are out, so it’s just you and me here tonight. They left some money for dinner. I can order our favorites later if you want.”

Wandering around in the dark, feeling the brisk air, smelling as if it were his first sense given. Only moments ago Max had escaped from that prison of a house. As enamored as he was by the fact he was outside, the sound of movement forced him to run. Terrified of being caught, he was running as quickly as possible hoping the other being wouldnt catch up. Missing his shoes, shirt, or any kind of jacket, the brisk wind was chilling his bones every second.

   Max knocked lightly on the door to Magnus’s study and then peeped around to look at him. “Papa? Are you busy?” He wanted to talk to him, but he knew how his father could be if he was disturbed while he was working. He held one of the spell books he was practicing from and he was having trouble with one of the spells, so he hoped Magnus could help him figure it out. “I need your help with something.

Always the rich kids getting themselves into nasty situations, and their uppity parents paying to bail them out. In this case, said parents paying a master thief to steal evidence and make it disappear in the middle of the night. Then in came one overly curious student.

With the gun safely stored away, Remy's brow twitched when he noticed Max's nose dribble some blood.
