“Is there anything that requires my attention that you need handled, my king?” He asked of him before he glanced up to him. It was still odd to see Dartz all grown up. The young prince was now a man.

“Do I need to feast on anyone for you, Yuugi? I smell..blood on your form. What happened.” He said as he waited for Yuugi’s answer as he was worried for the young male.

He looked back at her, seeing her within the shadows as he didn’t understand why she chased after him. Her presence causing him pain from their bond eroding away. 

“I took it from a dying baby. A barely developed soul. I heard a blue code in the hospital and used a bit of magic to keep myself invisible to the human eyes. The baby was passing and I just waited it out...took the soul as it was leaving. Dartz never said I had to kill someone. Even if I did you know me better...I thought you knew me better. If I had to it would’ve been a criminal. I wouldn’t just take an innocent life.” He hissed out a little as he was still a bit upset over how many people abandoned him over it without even listening to him.

“No one cared to hear me out. They just assumed I completely went over the board. I’m not that awful....go home...before everyone gets worried..”

Timaeus had shifted into his beast form after gathering his belongings and looked back at the barracks he had called his home before he looked back up to the sky. He wasn’t sure if this was the right thing to do but, he had to do something. He had to.

With that in mind, his wings had lifted up high before they were brought back down and he used his clawed feet to push himself up in timing with his wings to push himself up off the ground before he proceeded to take off, heading to the lair of the Leviathan and where Dartz could be found. 

It had took a few hours but, when he’d made it there, he landed softly and let out a cry loud enough for the man to hear as he stretched his wings out. That should be enough to get their attention.

Timaeus had sat there thinking about his past with Dartz as his hand had reached up to touch his scarred eye. Thinking of the pain he had to go through to get it removed. The memories of that day burning in his mind over how defeated he’d felt in that moment. 

The young prince he’d grown up with and loved had struck him after turning him into this beast.

He wanted so badly to have him back but, he knew in his heart that was likely never going to happen. The man he loved was long gone and forever changed.

He knew the cloned version of himself wasn’t too fond of him, he could smell the emotion seeping out from his scent but, never ever brought it up. He didn’t blame him and yet,...he found him comforting at times. He could...relate in a sense.

“I don’t mean to bother you. It wont’ take long I promise I just...” It hurt to even have to say it. “My people...have abandoned me because I took a soul without even knowing how I took it....and...I just..I don’t trust myself to be alone right now. You don’t have to talk to me if you don’t want to I just..wanted someone’s company. If I am not intruding too much. I only request to lay nearby. If not I will be on my way and I understand if you don’t wish to be bothered.”

He smiled with pride at the other even though his words brought him a sort of sadness. Dartz was desperate. He only hoped him joining would cause a change. If not? He would return home; for now he had to try. 

“You did what I would have done. I still would do. I have no plans to listen to his minions. Whether or not he told them to give me the order I will only hear Dartz command and then question it. I will likely be turned away eventually.” He said as he looked to his other self, his clone.

“That doesn’t surprise me to be honest. It is what corrupted him in the first place. Has to be powerful to do that and the damage it created in such a domino effect. It was what turned me..us into dragons.”

He wasn’t too happy with the responses he’d gotten from several people now...none of them seemed to understand that he was trying to do something good. To help Dartz..

“I...joined Dartz. Although, I have no fucking idea how I am going to get a soul. I...I have to kill someone to get a soul..” He told her as he felt a tad ashamed but, he really believed he could do some good. “I want to help Dartz, from the inside. Maybe have a chance at getting our king back...is that so bad to want something such as that?...”
