"I'm not usually so much of an obstacle — Just a little lost, is all."
It's then that he really looked over the other, craning his neck and tilting his head. Though there were obvious differences between the two, some features did make for a striking comparison. An amused snort came from the greener of the two's snout.

“I don’t think that’s any way to treat passers by,” The dragon rumbled off-handedly to the wolf as he had witnessed a rather unsavory scare to a small couple, which sent them scampering off. Where the green-scaled reptile had come from initially was unclear, but lo and behold he sat perched on a nearby boulder, legs crossed as he shined his claws on his chest and examined them. He seemed rather calm and collected, if not dignified.
“Especially ones who were just trying to find their way home.”

I’m realizing now that Puff the Magic Dragon could have been a much more influential film to me had I just listened a little deeper as a kid.
Its entire theme centered around overcoming fears and anxiety, which is something I’ve always struggled with. Particularly the quote, “Have the courage to try. You may fail, but at least you have made the effort.” would have been good for me if I’d actually heeded it.
