Ayaka, what's such a sweet girl like you doing actually being friends with someone like Shinsou? You know what his reputation around UA is, right? Someone to be feared and for good reason, too! Look at what his Quirk is, how could you willingly trust someone with a Quirk so villainous and dangerous? I'd almost say he deserves all of the stares and remarks he gets. He doesn't even deserve to be in the hero course either; it was a mistake letting him into UA.

“huh?” bright green eyes blink at the stranger who decides to bad-mouth her friend. “why would you say something like that? shinsou is a good person. so what if his quirk is mind-washing? it’s only villainous if it’s used for villainy, but that’s not the case, shinsou wants to be a hero.” huffing out a breath, she frowns. “of course he deserves to be in the hero course. you have no idea what you’re talking about! he works hard day and night and barely gets a break. you don’t know anything about shinsou. he’s more of a hero than you could ever be!” overwhelmed with anger at the audacity of this stranger, ayaka fails to notice the thorny vine growing from her shoulder.
