Catching his breath, Dylan lit up a cigarette ( don't let yourself get carried away in the irony of it...), striking the match against the house numbers. After a few puffs of smoke, he spit on the head of the match and jammed it down into the pocket of his trousers. He rapped at the door using the knocker and pressed the bell a few times, too.
"Would the man or lady of the house PLEASE answer the door?!" he begged in a loud voice, gritting his teeth against the ciggie.

as the second-born, dylan has been disappointing their dad for as long as he can remember. when demeter handed him another child instead of staying, things changed — or so he’s been told. ten years his senior, ethan was there to see a difference, but dylan has only ever been part of the after. not that he really cares. ethan has always been the one who had his back and made sure dylan was taken care of. ethan was there when dylan tried to turn his interest in makeup into a career, but flunked out of beauty school when he forgot to show up after a week. even so, dylan has always felt supported, even if he’s never going to have his life together the way ethan does. some people are meant to grow up and start their own restaurant, while some people are meant to stay home at make tiktoks about what he’s eating that day. the thing is, the people who watch his ‘what my brother packed me for lunch today’ videos think that dylan is just really into creative costumes. any time anyone asked, he just told them turning himself into plants is just something he can do. even after nemean lion went public, dylan kept things vague so no one was ever really sure when he was joking or not. anyway, tiktok isn’t really a career, but his videos do well and it keeps him busy so.

Sitting right opposite his laptop, busy with the special project that took weeks. Dylan was concentrated, thought about nothing else. Just when he wanted to get something to drink, he heard the door open and there she stood with an angry and disappointed look. Suddenly he knew what he had forgotten, a romantic dinner in a sushi restaurant. How could he forget this? The shock in his body said enough and he did not know how to explain this. “ Oh no, I’m so sorry. ” he said with a sigh. Dylan was especially busy with his project, convincing other people to do something for the school. Because of this he got a lot of conflicts with you, he became angry when you were against his plan and forgot you quite often. And this was a dinner he suggested himself, but now that was different. Dylan stood up and tried to approach you positively to look at his project, trying to forget this problem. “ I was so busy with Matthew to make a new project for the school, and I knew I had to go to you. Have told him that a few times, but I forgot it. But you have to look how good this project is. With this I will convince the school that they should follow this plan. ” he said convincingly. Dylan turned the laptop to you and then walked to the kitchen to take something to drink. When he arrived back in the living room, his joy changed into anger. “ What have you done?! ” he said with disbelief when he saw that you removed his project. He could not believe you did this.

Concentrated looking at the movie Lacey had chosen, Dylan did not notice that she had fallen asleep. Normally he never watched such movies, but since Lacey wanted to watch it, he decided to accept it and apparently it was not the wrong choice of her. He said almost nothing, while he took a sip every minute of his glass of cola and was eating popcorn. It was an exciting movie and he almost started talking to himself about what was going to happen. When a quiet moment came in the movie and he paused the movie to get a drink for both of them, he saw how she had fallen asleep. Actually, a cautious smile should appear on his face as he watched his girlfriend fall asleep during the movie she had chosen. But instead of a smile, he looked shocked at her how she was shaking and saying words he could not hear well. She seemed to have landed in a nightmare, so he decided to wake her up. " Lacey! "He put his hands on her shoulders as he watched her wake up and look at him. Looking at how she started to play with her hair, (ALWAYS!) she did not seem to realize at first that he had noticed that she had a nightmare. As he sat close to her and put an arm around her, he looked worried at her. '' Is everything alright with you, hun? It seemed like you had a nightmare. You said a lot of words that I could not understand well, you seemed very scared. " He said a little bit confused, because normally she never had a nightmare, at least, he had not seen it before.
