Zoe had to go out again and the girl named Val had been called over to watch out for him again. Kyle would be angry, but he knows that since he came back, he's not the same person that he used to be. He also likes the fact that Zoe had found someone who was so much like him to keep a watch on him. They were both sitting on the couch when he pulls out a book then looks at Val intently "Would you read to me Val? You know how much I like the sound of your voice and how much it calms me down."

“Y---You are all I g---got.” kyle

Kyle walks across the room to her and takes her gently in his arms "Same here, you're the only one I have to talk to or that has even offered to be my friend. You are really special to me and anything that effects you effects me. I'll always be here for you whenever you need me and when you don't. You're going to get so tired of me." He chuckles and raises an eyebrow at her with a smile

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ when she hears the length of time he has gone without proper rest , she grows solemn . of course , she could be the same way , & has even been bordering on many sleepless nights herself . she can see how the toll it is taking on him is reflected in his eyes , Valerie reaching out to move some hair out of his vision as she observes him . " I am s---sure she n---notices . she c--cares v--very much about y--you . " she promises , since the other witch always was keeping him in mind , even when she couldn't be here . this is why she would have Valerie be with him , so he had someone . when he points out the fact that at least she still notices him , she nods . " of c---course . I am a---always here . " she promises . ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

Kyle looks at her then blinks and turns his face away "I never really had anyone who cared until now so I don't really know what to do with it. Oh, sure the boys at the frat cared but I think most of them only were my friends so they could get into the frat in the first place." He shakes his head and goes silent thinking back over his short life and really noticing for the first time how sad it really was. The only person that he had ever really loved was Zoe and she seemed not to be as interested since he came back so he didn't know what to do. That she cared for him at all anymore was a blessing. Kyle then turns back to Val with a small smile "If she didn't care I don't think that you and I would ever have met and become friends like we have. I mean, Zoe can be jealous of other people sometimes even though she's the only one that I will ever love."

Kyle had noticed the moment she came into the room he was in that something was wrong. Val almost never frowned and when she did it was usually over something major. He waits for her to sit down before broaching the subject because what kind of friend would he be if he asked her what the problem was right when she walked through the door. Kyle comes over to the couch after a few minutes of silence and leans over slowly so as not to scare her. He then gives her kiss on the forehead "Is everything alright? You look like you're having a bad day or something but if you want to talk about it then I'm all ears."

🛏️ + reverse for Kyle

Kyle had a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep nor did he want to be alone with his thoughts, so he got up out of bed and walked down the hall to where Val was staying the night. He opened the door and saw that she was laying there asleep and didn't want to disturb her, but he needed someone to be with right now. Kyle goes over to her bed and climbs in it with her, careful not to wake her, even though he probably did. Kyle then lays down beside her and closes his eyes, trying to go back to sleep.

" w--when was the l--last time y--you slept ? " Kyle

"Three days ago, but I don't need as much sleep as I used to before. This is the greatest number of days that I've gone without though." Kyle looks at her more than a little bleary eyed "No one else has seemed to notice that I haven't slept, not even Zoe." He chuckles then and looks away from her and out the window "She's really busy now days helping with the teaching and everything, so I don't get as much attention as I used to." Kyle then sighs in frustration "At least you still notice me."

cleaning   a   cut ( Kyle )

Kyle looks at her with concern before taking her injured hand in his. He had already gone to the bathroom where the first aid kit was kept and got it so now all he had to do was clean the cut and put a bandage on it. Kyle takes out an antiseptic wipe and lowers it to her hand, not quiet touching it "This is going to sting a little, but we have to make sure it's clean or you'll get sick." He then gently runs the wipe over the cut, taking his time and getting it as clean as possible before he throws it in the garbage. Kyle then gets out a Band Aid and sticks it on the cut "There all done."

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ her head immediately pops up when he speaks , her attention truly & solely focused on him & him alone . it tilts slightly to the side as she observes him , drawing just a bit closer , but not to overwhelm him ; her expression reads that she is listening , & he can tell her anything he desires . ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡

Kyle leans forward until they are close enough that he can whisper in her ear "I really don't like it here. I mean they act nice and all but I hear what they say about me behind my back and I don't like it." He sighs as he sits back in the chair opposite her "It makes me mad sometimes and that scares me because I do bad things when I get angry. I don't mean to I just do."
