Alasdair followed Dae and was a bit surprised by the answer, “I’m going to be frank and said I didn’t have much faith in the outcome of this conversation.” He hummed a bit before nodding, “I was concerned. Corbett has never been with a good man before and always seems to end up heart broken and alone. If that’s how this was going to end I wanted to be prepared.” He patted Dae’s shoulder awkwardly, “My concern was not needed it seems.”

Pocketing the boxes, Dae gave a shy smile, “The only concern I have now is if Corbett is going to like the ring I choose...and if he doesn’t mind the fact that I’ve already bought a house for us to live in”. He said quietly. His eyes glistened with excitement, he could barely hold back the smile that was creeping its way across his face.

“Yeah, of course, we can”. He hummed softly as he reached up stroking his fingers through his hair at the back of his head softly. “I...actually have something planned so make sure to be ready by 6 okay”. He said softly as he gave him a gentle smile. He was sure Corbett was going to absolutely LOVE this surprise.

Corbett entire face blushed bright red. He didn’t know how to react but he did move to kiss Dae back. Wrapping his arms around Dae’s neck but refusing to open his mouth. He was making it very apparent he was trying to tease Dae by not opening his mouth.

This little shit. A mix between a muffled growl and a muffled snarl came from the dragon as he began to back Corbett up pushing him up against the kitchen counter. Biting Corb’s lower lip a little roughly, accidentally cutting it a small bit with his fangs, “Open your mouth”. He hissed at the other pressing up against him solidly so that he was sandwiched between Dae’s hard body and the countertop.

Corbett’s pout only deepened at the nickname. He playfully stuck out his tongue at the taller before sitting back up to think, “Hmmm. Well I mean we could watch a movie. Go out to dinner. Play a board game. Go to the park. Go stargazing. I dunno just something interesting to do.” Corbett practically begged Dae with his eyes. He just hated being stuck in the house which is all he’s been doing for a week.

Dae gave a low hum as he crossed his arms over his chest tilting his head to the side, “Pick something and we’ll do it just so long as it’s not bar hopping. That’s not my idea of fun.”. He had issues with getting drunk in public. It always ended in some form of altercation.

Corbett moved so he could press a kiss to Dae’s neck. He was just cuddling against the other and leaning into the touch on his neck, “I’m sorry I was so busy today. I had class and then I had meeting a bunch of clients.” Plump lips turned down into a pout, “I wanted to come home the entire time.” He moves so legs were wrapped around Dae’s lap while they sat there. Gently grasping the dragon’s face and pressing kisses all over it, “You’re so handsome it’s unfair.”

What was this cuteness Corbett was displaying, jee he was being quite affectionate today. Surely the day hadn’t been that long? or maybe Dae’s sense of time was a little obscured. His face flushed faintly as he dropped his book onto the couch cushion next to them. A soft sound escaping his lips, it was almost like a breathy laugh as the other started peppering kisses all over his face. “Corbett please” He laughed softly, slipping both arms around the blodne’s waist and pulling him close to him. Pressing in so his face was pressed to Corb’s shoulder.

“You look familiar” Corb and Dae

"You sure dont. You sure you know who youre talking to kid?". A frown marred his face as he put a hand on his hip, finger tracing the side of the hilt of his gun underneath the coat he wore. Tilting his head to the side, "beat it. If its not important youre interrupting my work anyway.". Golden eyes harsh and cold as they narrowed in on the small blond. There was no recognition in them what so ever, like this daehyun lookalike didnt even know who he was. Which was the truth of course, this wasnt the fuzzy warm dragon corbett had come to know and love.
