"'Evil'? I highly doubt they're evil," she said, frowning as she studied the room.
“They got shooty things that they hurt and ouchy and no go near. Very very bad.” He told her as he slowed down by the exhibit room.

"'Evil'? I highly doubt they're evil," she said, frowning as she studied the room.
“They got shooty things that they hurt and ouchy and no go near. Very very bad.” He told her as he slowed down by the exhibit room.
She grinned and hopped up into the soft, warm fur, gripping it gently to keep from falling off. "Okay. I'm ready."
“Good!” He made a happy noise before taking off to the hall of the miniatures. “You see Octy and Jed and avoid evil minis. They mean. Mayans stay locked up.”
"Um, sure. Thank you." She waited to let him show her what to do next.
“Climb up. I take you there.” He laid down for a moment. “Climb on back and I run.”
She caught up to him, chirping again. "I'm Lori."
“Lori.” Dexter repeated. “You need ride to there? I make it quicker.”
She hesitated, then followed after him. "Who are you?"
He halted. “I’m Dexter. I can tell you who mean and who to play trick on.”
Lori frowned. "Where--Where can I find food? Wait, there are other people my size?"
“In tiny exhibit. I show you. You come.” Dexter ignored the question of food as he started to walk out of the exhibit. “This way!”
"I'm l-looking for food." She scratched her head. "Um. My mother told me once us Grassfolk can speak with anyone, no matter what their language is. Maybe that's it?"
“No real food here. This be museum. I don’t know what grassfolk is. You always little? You look like Jed and Octy.” Dexter noted.
Lori stared. "First come to life, now you talk?"
“I always have. Since when can you understand me? You’re not supposed to be here this late.”
