Mörser - Two Hours to Doom
I think a lot of us, when we’re asked if we want to listen to something that’s more of a by the numbers representation of a sub genre like death metal or black metal or want to watch some strange deviation / genre mix, will pick the genre mix. A lot of us got into metal cause we want to pick the more strange kinda out there option. It’s interesting to see that kind of perspective. But at the same time there is value in the people who created / molded / perfected a genre. Mörser’s Two Hours to Doom feels like standard deathgrind perfected. An extremely solid 24 minutes fine tuned to be some of the best deathgrind available in my opinion.
