Aaaaaah, it's been so long since somebody even mentioned them. :') I always loved their dorky dynamic, Philipp may have looked like he could have strangled Thomas here and there, but he adores him and got out of his shell a little bit more. And Thomas adores Philipp just as much, they're basically both dad types, embarrassing dorks and likeminded souls despite the age (and height) difference and I miss them a lot.

The Thomas Müller moments haven't happened yet. But he is a positive guy who can motivate the others, so I hope his special moments will come soon.

Whatever you do, don’t ever, EVER think about how many of his (closest) teammates and/or friends Thomas has seen leaving Bayern, either at free will or forced. I know it’s easy for him to get along and make friends, but it must still be fucking hard.

Miro, Mario (times two), Toni, Basti, Holger (hopefully only temporarily)… And Philipp is undeniably one of his VERY close friends, if not THE closest friend.

I have spent a big part of my career with Thomas Müller, playing over 300 matches alongside him. I hope that it hurts him a little bit too to not have me anymore - not only when it comes to playing cards, but also on the pitch and as the one who sits next to him in the locker room.
