M’Ma ran into duckburgs resident superhero quite a bit in her time as a rookie
I bet the reason everyone on Fentons block knows he's Gizmoduck is because his mom excitedly told anyone who'd listen that her son was a superhero.
Fenton tries to hide the Gizmoduck gear from M’ma but A.) he transformed right in front of her that one time and B.) Everyone knows Huey Duck hangs out with Gizmoduck and he just HAPPENS to be around her son all the time? She’s not an idiot, buddy.
So it is ASBOLUTELY possible she called up all the neighbors like “EY WHAT’S UR BOY DOING? BECAUSE MY BOY IS KICKING YOUR BOY’S METAPHORICAL ASS. LITERAL IN YOUR CASE CAROL, I’M SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE ROBBERY.”

Merry Christmas @toddy-kun! 🎄
I’m your secret Santa. I hope that you’re having a nice December so far.
I saw that one of your favourite characters was M’ma Cabrera. I tried to draw her, with the best of my ability.😅
Some of it might look a bit odd, (As I look at it again I simply can’t not look at that very anatomically incorrect arm) but I tried.
The traditional sketch can be found under the cut,
The Raid (rough draft) It had been a simple raid; the place was well-known in the streets as a meeting point for black market dealers. It was a seedy and horrible place to find oneself. So it was pretty strange when she found the light of her life in its depths. ____ I'VE ONLY KNOWN M'MA CRACKSHELL-CABRERA FOR THREE HOURS BUT I WOULD DIE FOR HER. So this is an opening into how she and Fenton ended up together in the Siren AU. Poor baby gets caught in a fishing net and winds up on the black market. 5 years seasoned Officer M'ma Crackshell-Cabrera aids in an ambush on said den, and finds a little merduck, and after some tedious effort, manages to get him home and pretty much adopts him. SHE WILL KILL THOSE WHO DARE TO THREATEN HIM.
I think Ms Cabera is a cop
I was looking at her necklace and I realize it looked like a police badge.
It even explains why she was at the press conference talking to another police officer.

Sorry I hadn’t gotten around to talking about these episodes yet, but I just got a day off today, so I want to make up for lost time before the season finale this Saturday, so let’s not dawdle any longer! We begin with an important question:
WHO IS GIZMODUCK?!
In this episode focusing on Fenton, his superhero identity Gizmoduck catches the attention of Mark Beaks, who wants to use the suit to serve his customers’ every mundane whim rather than actually serve as the protector of Duckberg, a methodology Fenton does not agree with much.
After the preceding episode where we got secret agent goodness and bouncing, this was a good lime-in-the-spotlight moment for Fenton, as well as a fun introduction to his mother, with good jokes and a nice plot with a nice beginning, middle, and end. However, I feel like it could’ve benefited as a two-parter rather than a regular 22-minute episode, as this felt rather rushed, especially in the middle. Nonetheless, not a bad episode overall, even though it could have been improved a bit.
Next, after another close call for Lena where she tries to get the Number One Dime, Scrooge places it somewhere for safe keeping until he finds out what’s been tampering with it. And, upon Magica’s heads-up on what that somewhere is, Lena takes Webby dime-searching in...
...THE OTHER BIN OF SCROOGE McDUCK!
Meanwhile, Louie finds out that Huey has been keeping a bigfoot named Tenderfeet in his room for a day now, only to discover that he is actually named Gavin and voiced by Emperor Awesome... and just about as jerkish. The difference is, Gavin is funnier.
This was a great episode, simply put. I loved everything from the pitch-perfect humor (even the Tenderfeet subplot I thought was actually well-handled) to the sprinkled-in dark stuff near the end. Speaking of, if it hadn’t happened after “Jaw$!”, Magica will probably have quickly become your favorite villain in the show when you see just how perfect a mix of laugh-out-loud comical jokester and holy-cow-I-ain’t-touching-that-with-a-thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot-pole terrifying menace she’s become in such a short amount of time in appearances. One of my personal favorites.
Next, Dewey is feeling dejected by the others when they suddenly fly into...
...SKY PIRATES...IN THE SKY!
They sing and dance to Andy Bean and are lead by Don Karnage (voiced by Jaime Camil rather than Jim Cummings like in the original TaleSpin)... whom the others toss off the Iron Vulture in favor of an equally-dejected Dewey after he bonds with them via his hat story. Long story short, another new personal fave with so much great comedy and a great song that’ll be stuck in your head for quite a while. What more need I say about this one.
Sure enough, we head to Scotland to learn about...
...THE SECRET(S) OF CASTLE McDUCK!
The first secret: Scrooge’s parents are alive and voiced by Graham McTavish (also the Saint of Killers from Preacher) and Ashley Jensen. There are more to find, though, as the triplets go on a quest to solve what Dewey believes (but would tell his brothers) to be another clue about Della’s whereabouts, while Scrooge bickers with his father and Webby is on Joy Overload.
Not as good as the last two, but still got a lot of good jokes and a great plot with the triplets as Huey and Louie finally find out about Dewey and Webby’s search for Della. So... still good. But now, we finally get to the big episode of this five-episode recap:
THE LAST CRASH OF THE SUNCHASER!
In this pre-finale episode written by Francisco Angones, everyone sans Donald goes on vacation, only to end up at the top of a mountain dangerously teetering in the sky for their very lives. Easily the darkest until the Shadow War, there’s not as much humor as the others (though it’s still all funny), but it makes up for it with real drama, some good callbacks and a surprising, even devastating revelation that concludes the mystery of Della Duck. Closing out on a somber note, this is nonetheless the perfect episode to lead in to the season finale this Saturday, as well as a perfect episode overall.
On the Season Finale: Magica goes to Hot Topic and Scrooge eats pizza! It’s a lot more exciting than it sounds!
So, if the new DuckTales comic is accurate, both Huey and Officer Cabrera know that Fenton is Gizmoduck.
I mean, he did transform in front of them lol. And even if he hadn’t, Fenton wouldn’t willingly lie to his mom, and Huey is one of the few ducks in this show with common sense.
